This was a good place for a few nights stay. A 2-3 star hotel with appropriate service level and clean comfortable room. Everything in the room worked as expected. The room was nice and clean. Our room had medium size refrigerator with its own ice maker. The kitchenette was well stocked with pans and frying pan. It had everything you needed to make you meal on the go and cook while you stayed there. The hotel does not have restaurant but the mini kitchen was a good substitute if you are interested in making your own meal/breakfast or do light cooking. Coffee maker and to-go cups. Glasses, mugs and silverware... it was all there.The hotel had a 'lending locker' in the lobby with blender, toaster, waffle maker and ton of other kitchenware to make it easy to make what you wanted to make including some serious cocktails.Ample desk area and a recliner for added comfort.The TV was smallish with local programming. No alarm clock and no additional USB outlets, both of which would have been great.Onsite laundry facility or laundry service in the room is available.There is a small gym with all popular exercising equipment available for free. An indoor pool would have been nice too but would not be a deciding factor for me. The lobby area is minimal with couple of chairs and a TV. There is a small but well stocked convenience items store which surprisingly had more stuff than I thought it would including larger food items etc. Very nice.All sorts of convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment venues are a short drive away.I always rate any place with a thought whether, all things equal, I will come back to the place. Yes... I would stay here again and plan my visit accorsingly.Safety: Area was well lit and seemed perfectly safe at the time I was there. Plenty of free parking also available.

I normally choose to stay at the Candlewood Suites because they are very pet friendly. Unfortunately, today's stay had me cringing at the site of the bathroom. The bathtub has been painted over with white paint but has rubbed away to show the nastyness that once was a bathtub. The walled in the bathroom adorned with stains and toilet filthy. Would not recommend.

My fiancé was at this hotel for 2 weeks for work. Today, he was packing up his stuff to check out, and he discovered he is missing a blue button up shirt two new pairs of jeans that he never wore and $20. He never used room service at that hotel, because he never uses room service when he stays at a hotel. So someone who works at that hotel went into his room in the last two days and stole his belongings.

Great place to lay your head for the night! Super clean and kept up! Very impressed with the hotel for the price point! They don't offer breakfast or a pool but they do loan small appliances ( crockpots, coffee pots, blenders, etc.) by the front desk!

Uh... I was expecting more for the price. The 3rd floor hallway smelled pretty bad, also the loud door slams in the middle of the night combined with hearing everyone's conversation as they walk down the hall.

I was going to be checking in around 4 AM on the 4th so I made the reservation for the 3rd - 5th of March. When I got to the hotel, I was informed that they were sold out and they could not accommodate me at that moment, but I can come back at three and check in. Then the gentleman tells me that my reservation was on 4th-5th and I showed him my reservation confirmation email and he couldn't understand or explain why his said one thing and mine another. I had spent my points for the tonight about 35,000 points roughly so I had left and when I called that afternoon to make sure that my room is gonna be available when I got off work as soon as the lady on the phone heard my name, she said that I didn't show up for my reservation the night before. I told her I did. I actually showed up 10 minutes After the reservation was made. I explained to her that the gentleman printed me up a receipt stating that they had no availability at that moment everything come back later on then the lady tells me that they were booked up for the next two nights. I asked her about refunding my points she said I would have to contact IHG rewards when I asked if she had a number she said no. Also she did not inform me at that moment that my card had already been charged for incidentals Don't ask me how or why there were incidentals when they couldn't even accommodate me but behold, there was. so I have to wait another 7 to 14 days to have my points added back to my account plus the money back to my credit card and what amazes me the most is when talking to the IHG they had on there and that I didn't show up that's what they were charging me like they were doing their job. No I showed up they sent me away and they still she charged me. I do a lot of traveling and stay at hotels quite often, and I have never been disregarded and disrespected like that. I've been staying at a hotel with family for almost a month and wanted a night to myself. The lady did inform me of other hotels that I could try. Holiday Inn express, Holiday Inn Conference Center, and Staybridge. I told her we've been at one of those for almost a month which is why I booked at their hotel because it's part of the IHG family.

I am an IHG member and a huge fan of Candlewood nationwide. I do NOT recommend this location. The staff was crabby and uninspired. I was booked on the fourth floor only to be told AFTER checking in that the elevator was broken. This is a problem that has been a problem for WEEKS, which to me seems like there is no concern for their own housekeeping staff let alone the guests. It was the most miserable stay I've ever had at a Candlewood and I have had MANY! This is NOT an example of the brand I have come to love and enjoy. It seems that everyone I encountered was as miserable as I was. The pet policy is also ridiculous. I try to stay within the IHG family but if I'm in Tyler texasfor work I will avoid this hotel. Two thumbs down on this location. Worst staff experience in years.

Front desk was not only rude but was talking to other guests about my business. accused me of not having a handicap placard. which I don't drive with on my mirror I went in to check in she is outside complaining to other guests about me a disable veteran on memorial weekend !!!! Not to mention there was a bunch of stuff on the counters looking like a garage sale. Very rude has no customer service ability about her seems the only people she got along with were other old ladies. Will not be back. I stay in hotels 300 days out of the year.IHG MEMBER

The staff are fantastic and rooms are comfortably appointed. The property is well kept. Also allowed our dog to stay for an additional fee. Bonus is the walking trail nearby.The one draw back for staying long term is that the rooms are always damp and have a strange smell. I'd definitely return for a shorter stay.

The room was a nice size. It was equipped with everything I needed. On the day of arrival work in the main lobby was being done. However, it was very quiet during my stay. They offered some frozen meals and treats to be purchased in the lobby area. My microwave did not work in my room but the gentleman remedied my problem quickly. I greatly appreciated that. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again down the road.
