After leaving from a routine oil change, the horn on my older car kept going off during turning. It seems to be the piece of plastic with a button that articulates to the Bluetooth module in the steering wheel was pushing into the horn and causing it to go off. On my return after discovering this I was met with a pretty rude sales representative who instead of offering any kind of solution for me now, gaslit me and implied that maybe it is my slight oil leak that has been persistent nigh on three years that is causing this never before occurring issue, he was rude and completely unhelpful. I played with the plastic piece and it does seem to be that this was the issue, the horn is not going off as I turn. Prior to this interaction, everything was fine with the oil change as far as I know. It is really just the guy's rude behavior, complete insincerity, and lack of any kind of give-a-crap that left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be going back to this place for any business if at all avoidable.

UPDATE AT END****We are having the absolute worst experience with this dealership.. THREE MONTHS OF WAITING for a key fob, apparently they sold it to another customer and called my wife 10 min before her scheduled appointment AFTER she drove an hour and a half and told her they sold it to someone else... worst customer service we have ever dealt with. Can't get ANY management to call us back. Guess lifelong toyota customers get the same crappy service as everyone else... if this was my dealership (I work at a competing brand dealership) this would have been taken care of by now. There is really no excuse for this situation... except horrible leadership and no accountability. Bit of advice... dont send your wife to this place alone, obviously taking advantage of her gender and lack of knowledge. Wonder if toyota corporate knows how this dealership is tarnishing their brand? Guess we will find out soon, they are my next step... wish I could have given 0 stars. Update...... WELL BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THEY CALLED "TRYING TO MAKE IT RIGHT " TOLD MY WIFE TO COME BACK TODAY (1 1/2 HOURS AWAY) AND DIDN'T HAVE HAVE THE FOB AFTER ALL. HOW BAD DO YOU HAVE TO BE AT YOUR JOB FOR THIS TO HAPPEN?? THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. So now they need to keep our 70k dollar 4 runner and gave her a dirty p.o.s. camry loaner. At least could have put her in something remotely similar to our vehicle. Looks like we drive to Dallas from now on for our services and future purchases....pathetic

Do not waste your time with this dealership, they are more interested in taking a $1,000 deposit than selling you a vehicle. Sales Department is terrible. wasting peoples time and money with limited vehicles on the lot and an empty promise to deliver. Sales staff are inexperienced and not trained well. Sales manager is a complete failure.

I am writing this scathing review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the Toyota dealership. My friend entrusted his car to them for repairs, and after a month, not only has his car not been fixed, but the dealership has sent him a whopping $11,000 bill! It's beyond belief that they would charge such an exorbitant amount for a car they claim is worth just $1000.My friend relies on this car to support himself and his family, using it to cover their living expenses. However, due to the prolonged delay and negligence from the dealership, he has been without work for a whole month, causing significant financial hardship for him and his loved ones. The lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by the Toyota dealership is utterly appalling. They have not only failed to repair the car, but they have also added to my friend's financial woes by sending an unjustified bill.I strongly caution everyone to steer clear of this dealership at all costs. Their deceitful practices and utter disregard for their customers' well-being make them entirely unworthy of anyone's trust. Toyota should take immediate action to rectify this situation and compensate my friend for the losses he has endured due to their incompetence and greed.

"I have been dealing with Toyota dealership for over a month now, trying to get my car serviced. Despite explaining that this car is my livelihood and essential for my family's income, they have shown no care or concern. They seem to prioritize their own interests, making me bear the brunt of their incompetence. They've charged me an exorbitant amount that far exceeds the value of my car, without any guarantee of proper repairs. Throughout this month, they have disregarded the impact this delay has had on my life and how it's affecting my livelihood. My car still remains unrepaired, and I am left with an overwhelming burden of expenses they've imposed, which is several times more than the car's worth."

I bought my used 2019 F-150 here and have had no problems with it. I continued going to Classic Toyota so that all of my service records would be in the same place. The first two times I went for oil changes, I was informed that they do not keep Ford oil filters on hand and would have to have the part delivered (understandable considering that they're Toyota) so knowing this- I called an hour in advance of my appointment to let them know that they would need to go ahead and order the part so that I wouldn't be waiting for hours. When I called, the parts department said that they would not order the part in advance. They wanted to wait until I got there to make sure that the "part numbers matched"... this is the same part I have had to have them order the last two times I've been here. I proceeded to get to the dealership and as I anticipated, ended up waiting a whole two hours to get my vehicle serviced. I could have gone 8 miles down the road to pennzoil and gotten it done in 20 minutes versus driving 25 minutes into town and waiting 2 hours. This place is a joke. Don't waste hours of your life sitting in their waiting room for them to try and push unnecessary sales on you. Go somewhere else.

Took my Land Cruiser in for a 4-wheel alignment. A hearty THANK YOU to Scott Lent for his workmanship and going the extra mile to share some of his knowledge, equipping me to better enjoy and utilize my Land Cruiser. Excellent customer service from Scott Lent!

This dealership is AMAZING! They went above and beyond in service. When we went in for a test drive with our kid we mentioned that he was into car emblems they were kind enough to give him an emblem. Nate was an absolute pleasure to work with, with him making certain that if we had any questions we could reach out to him. He even delivered our new truck to Bossier City because we got sick and couldn't make the drive. He is absolutely phenomenal. I'd highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I began hearing a whistling or squealing noise from under my 2017 Tacoma. It got progressively worse so I took it in to the Toyota dealership in Tyler for repair. When I got there the noise had stopped and they could not repair what they could not verify. In a few weeks it started again so I took it back to the Tyler facility and once again they could not replicate the issue. The service employee Mr. Nathan Naccarato was very professional and explained in a very clear way that they were sorry but they could not do a repair on something that they couldn't verify. I was not charged anything for either of the two times that I had previously come in. Finally after a couple of more weeks the noise began a third time and I began to research online and found that this same issue had been identified by several Tacoma owners and that the problem was a failing "Carrier Bearing". A third time, I set up an appointment to have the repair done and surprisingly this time the truck was still making the noise as I arrived at the dealership for the repair appointment. I explained to Mr. Naccarato what I had found online and forwarded to him the You tube video with audio of another truck with the same issue. He understood completely and said that he would pass on the information to their technicians. After several hours I received a call from Nathan and he said that they had found and repaired the issue at no cost to me since my truck was still under warranty. They replaced the carrier bearing as well as an adjacent U-joint. Nathan was very professional in all our dealings and I highly recommend he as well as Toyota of Tyler. This was a very peculiar situation which was very hard to identify. I am very pleased with all my dealings with this dealership and recommend it to anyone.

Took my car in for a checkup. Got a quote of $3500 to get it fixed with $1800 for a completely new exhaust system. As the car is worth only $5500, I declined service. I then took my car to the local custom muffler shop and had the problem fixed for only $95. A new mesh metal weave sleeve had worn out and needed to be replaced. The rest of the exhaust system was still in great shape and I was able to inspect with my own eyes. Needless to say, I won't be back to Classic Toyota with any of my Toyota vehicles. I feel very betrayed. The classic game of fix everything because we want your money versus doing the right thing. Shameful indeed.

Although I got my truck for a good deal, I got absolutely screwed over with the warranty (shocker). I do not recommend at all. This dealership is full of snakes and don't care about your hard earned money. If y'all do go here, be very cautious and read everything.

This company is the worst car company I have ever dealt with. I am use to buying high end mercedes and this place sold me a used one that was 10,000 over the bluebook. My fault for not doing my home work but when I complained about it later because I found out that my car had been wrecked and they didn't disclose it when I ASKED THEM AT THE TIME OF THE SALE, the GM (Scott Reed) at Classic Toyota had the nerve to tell me that charging customers too much for a vehicle was not a crime. This place is crooked, lying, cheats and I would never deal with them again!!!!
It should make everyone wonder why their website only has 5 star ratings on it from customers but I'm finding a lot of bad stuff about them when I google their review.

*Beware stay away* Classic Toyota, Tyler Tx main complaint intentional deceptive terminology i.e. Lies, I bought a used 2010 Toyota 52,000 miles on it, on 10/30/13 I also purchased the extended 100,000 mile warranty for $1795, because the salesperson and sales manger said it was good to have coverage past 115,000 miles. I asked several times about the this warranty 100,000 starting today and I was guarantee that yes it is so it wouldn't end until 152,000 miles right ? Right ok by, two days later got a call to meet the salesperson at the blue store because he needed me to sign something so he could get paid, I did that. I now have 101,000 miles went to a Toyota shop in Austin for warranty work only to learn that there is no warranty past 100,000 miles for any Toyota no matter what a salesperson guarantee is. I called Classic Toyota and got the Classic run around once I did get to speak with a sales manger not the one that sold the car he wouldn't pick up. This guy says well what your not understanding is you didn't pay for the first 50,000 miles. Ok then why sell me 100,000 mile warranty if only 50,000 miles is truly the length of the warranty? "Sir you don't you don't understand you didn't pay for the first 50,000 miles." I said no sir I understand I was lied straight to my face by Classic Toyota by using false terminology you said a 100,000 showed me the Toyota paper work where I can read it's a 100,000 why wouldn't anyone not believe that ? Only until I go to use the warranty do I get information about the exact terminology, when I contacted Toyota the woman there say they have nothing to do with the paper work your dealership gives you only start date and length. She even said why didn't they offer the 50,000 mile warranty? If your dealing with this deceptive dealer you have been warned. If they negative stars I would have chosen it.
