DO NOT rent with CubeSmart if you are looking to stay long term! For my 10x10 unit, that I have had for years, my rent suddenly went up $27 increasing my rent to $200 per month… after further investigation as to why this happened… Management told me that it is due to market changes and that my unit is in “prime real estate”, when it comes to storage. Although, many storage facilities increase their rates after a certain period of time, it typically is not more than 10-15%. CubeSmart offers low rates/promos to new customers and then slowly increases their rates as they see fit. This is a deeply flawed business strategy. It is shady business… in not being upfront about rate increases and the impact it has on people who plan to stay long term. I feel like I have been scammed… it wasnt until I did a deep dive into MULTIPLE storage facilities, throughout Tyler, that I realized CubeSmart has a misleading and flawed way of doing business. My advice, do your homework and ask for details in rate increases because if you plan to rent long term… CubeSmart is going to rip you off and you can’t do anything about it because, “it was stated in your lease agreement”… I have paid $200 for the past 6 months before I had time to research other facilities. The fact of the matter is, CubeSmart is literally the ultimate worst when it comes to cheating customers… at least in Tyler. Not all storage facilities follow this shady style of business… I have found a handful of well kept, safe, secure and climate controlled facilities that do NOT believe in scamming their patrons. CubeSmart needs and should do a better job in being upfront with rates so that customers feel taken care of and not taken advantage of. Be aware and know before you rent or it could cost you big time.

Quick, clean, easy in, courteous. One complaint is a couple outdoor flood lights out…have outside unit and would have been a bit easier with unloading at night with more light. Minor inconvenience.

Blane was 5 star person to work with. Friendly. Knowledgeable, interested in my needs and concerns. So patient with me so !helpful and I would recommend this place to everyone. I have had u its and two other pl es in Tyler, this place and Blane to everyone.

Sending my termination notice this week to CubeSmart on Old Bullard Rd in Tyler, and moving my storage unit after 5 years. Started out at $135/mo for a CC 10x10, now at almost $400/mo after 5 years. First two times I called about the rate increases, I was hung up on. Third time someone answered and said they'd run my request for a rate decrease up to management but nobody called me back. I have a feeling this is part of their strategy to take advantage of long-term lessees thinking they won't bother with the headache of moving facilities. They are wrong about this lessee and I hope some of you take notice of this review and ask about long term rate adjustments if you plan to have your unit for more than a couple years.

Justin was very friendly at the counter and could answer all our questions. Our new unit was very clean and had a checklist inside of how it was cleaned. I only recently started here, but so far, so good.

I regret to say, the units numbering system is nothing to write home about. There's not accurate nor adequate information regarding the numbers. This very FACT delayed me in locating the correct unit for better than 30 minutes. Furthermore, on this exact date it was cold temperatures and being outdoors was the LAST place I wanted to be. The staff behind the counter was supremely helpful, each time I went to him for aid & assistance. I do have to say the unit,once it was found was nice and clean. No cob-webs, no trash, no sand. Personally it had the appearance of having been thoroughly cleaned up, and it was recently done. Just like me, NOW. TY+

Great place for college students to place things for semester switch. The perfect size for my daughter things for her dorm. Had a great deal going 🙌🏾It was very easy to get, a little confusing cause seemed the call center says something different then the actual CubeSmart storage place your trying to rent but in the end when we got there things where as thought 🙏🏾all in all perfect place and not to far from Tyler Junior College.

the first one on grande was fantastic and helpful, the one behind the mall acted as if they were incompetent or didn't want my business, quoted me really high rates and I stayed 2 times the quotes weren't the same. I finally left and went to pack rat storage
