It's a dollar tree. The employees were doing their best. But you get what you pay for.

Oh, Dollar Tree on 64 in Tyler, where everything’s a dollar (well, $1.25 now, but who’s counting?) and the shopping experience is worth about half that. Walking into this fine establishment feels like stepping into a treasure hunt—if the treasure you seek is misplaced, slightly dented, or already open.
The aisles? A thrilling obstacle course of half-stocked shelves, rogue carts, and the occasional employee who looks like they’ve seen things no one should. Customer service? Let’s just say you’ll have better luck getting advice from a Magic 8 Ball. Ask an employee where something is, and you might get a shrug, a deep sigh, or a response so vague it feels like a riddle.
The selection is what you’d expect from a dollar store—off-brand snacks with names that sound like legal loopholes, toys that will break before you leave the parking lot, and beauty products that may or may not be government experiments. The greeting card section, though? Absolute gold. Nothing says “I care” like a 50-cent birthday card with a cartoon bear holding a balloon that says “Congrats on your thing!”
Checkout is its own adventure. One register open, a line that rivals Black Friday, and a cashier who looks like they’ve mentally clocked out around 2017. Want to pay with a card? Good luck, because that chip reader is temperamental at best.
But hey, it’s Dollar Tree. You go in for a roll of tape and leave with a bag full of things you didn’t know you needed—until they break five minutes later. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you enjoy the thrill of chaos and the smell of mystery chemicals in the air.

I love me some Dollar Tree. Great place to get some amazing things that are cheaper.

Never seen a Dollar Tree worse than this. There were carts of merchandise randomly everywhere. Merchandise shoved and piled onto almost every shelf. No organization whatsoever. Empty shelf pegs or ones filled with random items. Boxes and boxes of random items like someone cleaned up, then just put that box on the shelf. Almost not shop-able unless you dig and hope to find what you need. Icing on the cake was the cashier legit in her pajamas. Wrinkled grey T-shirt, checkered drawstring pajamas, and day old makeup smeared on her face. Kudos to at least showing up for the shift, and who knows what events led up to clocking in, but it was jarring. Guess the cashier at least matched the vibe of the store. Go here for shock value, but, not cause you actually need something. Cause you probably can’t find it, just saying. That DM/GM should consider revisiting that location. Cleaning it up would generate revenue. But, y’all know that… good luck!

That place is nasty, it's dirty and crap ALL OVER THE FLOOR. the employees are Very rude. When we checked out not a hello, thank you or even the amount of purchase, the guy just stood there. There was 3 of them up by the register and just having a conversation like they were all out on the town together, NEVER ACKNOWLEDGING THE CUSTOMER. Very unprofessional. So disappointing, I use to love going there but never again.

It’s hard to look around because it is so messy. Boxes EVERYWHERE! You can barely walk through the store!

Finally made it to this Dollar tree and was unimpressed. Their store was very messy and very crowded and there was no staff to help with any questions. Grabbed a few items that I wanted and made my way to the register. Only one register was open and she was literally the only employee I saw working in the store the whole time I was in there.
And considering that it was super hot in there and very uncomfortable to shop and I didn't stay very long. I feel really sad for the employee or employees if they have any. They have to work in that environment with no air conditioner.

This place is always in disarray. I have personally witnessed the employees trying to keep it tidy and organized. The way people treat this dollar tree in comparison to the other Tyler locations is ridiculous. This dollar tree typically does not have the same items as other locations.
