I was shopping in the store on 2/27 in the Cumberland location in Tyler Texas. I was greeted the minute I walked in, and the sales associate was extremely helpful to help me find what I was looking for. The store manager also helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He was so helpful, and very kind and friendly. It is very rare these days to find and experience that kind of customer service in the retail industry. So I wanted to make sure that both of them got recognized and know how much I appreciated their help. You had two great employees working that day.

I bought my son a pair of Mario and Luigi Velcro shoes at the Tyler Tx DSW. Within 6ish weeks the Velcro started ripping off the show making it difficult for my son to keep them on. I brought the shoes in and explained to the Manager the situation and she was incredible! She immediately went and got a brand new pair of shoes for my son and exchanged them at no extra charge to me. I didn't get the managers name but this was on 12/03/24 at 2:51pm. I will be a solid customer at this store because of the kindness and customer care I received from her!

Called beforehand to see if they had in the shoes we wanted because we live over an hour away. They said yes and in several colors. Drive up there and they don't even have one pair of any color. Why answer the phone and give the definite yes you have them and in several colors when we stressed we live that far away to not even have them. So we went to Journeys in Town east mall and bought what we wanted there. I will not go back to this place or recommend anyone there.And the girls were kinda rude and dismissive.

The 30 minutes I was in the store shopping no one spoke to me. The manager and I crossed paths more then once and she didn’t even say hi or ask if I needed help. When it was time to check out the cashier was doing online orders and watching a show on her phone. She completely ignored me, I had to ask her if I could be checked out. Definitely won’t be returning.

For a company whose sole (pun intended) product is shoes, this place (not just this specific location, but every DSW I have been to) has such a weak selection, and never carries any mens size larger than 13. My wife can never find what she needs in these stores either. IDK why we keep trying. Time to write DSO off.
