Really solid group of guys, the kick boxing coach Cody is first class. This guy runs 2 different groups during each session and still makes sure your form is crispy. The sparring between you and the other fighters is as tough or easy as you want it.

I love this place! I moved from out of state to Tyler without knowing anyone here, and the owners, staff, & members have all been so welcoming to me! Plus, you get a good mix of MMA, Muay Thai, Gi & no Gi Jujitsu, & Wrestling!

My very first and favorite Jiu Jitsu gym and family! They’ve got tons of classes to attend and the instructors are all AWESOME! Lots of space to roll around and it’s super family oriented as well.

I have trained a decent amount and have been to many gyms for seminars and such and this gym, this team is legit. High level talent and people just discovering the benefits of mixed martial arts/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu all come together to form a great inclusive atmosphere rich in proper technique and learning. After moving here permanently I have found a new home. All the coaches are amazing first and foremost and the gym energy is electric everyone is humble and focused. If you're on the fence just try it you'll love it they offer a free week as well.

I had the opportunity to try out Jiu Jitsu for the first time here. They let me do a free trial and I had a great time. The instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their facility is nice and well equipped. There are friendly regulars of all skill levels. Thank you Ethos!

Ethos Jiu Jitsu and MMA is great! They are extremely welcoming, great instructors, great classes and a top notch ultra clean facility. Great variety of classes, kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, MMA, No-Gi Jiujitsu, and the best part, you don’t have to pay extra for any other classes! Your monthly membership covers all the classes so you can train to your hearts content. Highly recommended.

I’ve trained at Ethos 5 or 6 times when traveling to Tyler for work and every time I do it’s a great experience. The facility is first class and the people are to. I’m a purple belt and I’ve been training Mma and BJJ for about 10 years and I learn something every time I go here. Give them a shot you’ll be impressed

Traveled to Tyler for work. Spoke with John and came to the Wednesday open mat. Between John and his members at the academy, all around great people. Great rolls and very nice/welcoming. They train hard which is sometimes hard to find when traveling. I will definitely be back. OSS!

Ethos Jiu Jitsu is a welcoming, professional, and clean gym! Plenty of classes offered such as kickboxing and MMA addition to both gi and no-gi Jiu Jitsu. If you have ever had an desire to try out BJJ, this gym will give you the experience you are seeking. The instructors are very qualified and patient. The gym had a very friendly feel and there isn't a sense of you just being a dollar sign to them. The training can be fairly intense as Ethos has many active competitors but folks will adjust their intensity based on your experience level and desire. I am very happy to train here and look forward to continuing to train with Ethos for a long time to come!
