Trigger Warning: violence, emotional abuse, and Police involvement.
I have never in my life experienced this level of insanity!!! I’m still absolutely flabbergasted by the situation and actually had to involve police.
We arrived to town extremely late (around 1:30am) with my family, and my 7 month old infant, after a very long drive through the night.
We requested the first floor, if available, because of the baby but unfortunately one was not available. Bummer, but ok. They put us upstairs (208) after about 20 min or so of messing with the AC we realized it was definitely broken and the thermostat already read 85°- obviously we couldn’t stay in there with the baby.
The employee on site came up, agreed it was too hot and moved us rooms. From the moment he unlocked the door of 216 my skin started to crawl. It was in the farthest back corner of the complex and looked as if something really bad had happened there, stains across the ceiling, the door had been bashed in multiple times, what appeared to be scratch marks everywhere, and the final straw was pulling back the bed sheets to see what appeared to be a literal blood stain on the sheets.
I called down to the front office almost in tears. I explained that there was absolutely no way we could stay here and I was sorry to be the person to complain but I would just like a refund and we would just get on our way. He said he couldn’t issue a refund because he wasn’t the manager and that I would have to speak to the manager the following day. Distraught, I agreed to stay, so I could speak to the manager, but only if the attendant could find us an acceptable room for the night.
It’s now around 3:30am and we are moved to yet another room. I again asked if anything opened on the 1st floor if he could please notify us and we would just finish out our stay there. He assured me it was fully booked for the weekend.
At around 7:30 the next morning my husband went check to see if the manager was in (he was not) and to get us some breakfast from the “continental breakfast” included. No coffee available and a broken waffle maker was the option. PASS
So, now after not having any coffee or breakfast we got ready for an event in town. At around 9:30 I went to the office to see if the manager was there yet. He said the manager wouldn’t be in till 10. So, despite our event beginning at 10, I waited. I went back and the manager was finally there.
I explained what happened and if there was a way to potentially compensate us for that nights stay or to move us downstairs, as I could now clearly see there were FOUR units on the bottom floor now available and being cleaned out.
He told me, in the most dismissive and rude way, that “they don’t do refunds” and that those rooms on the first floor were not really available and were “reserved.” I told him his mannerism and customer service was deplorable. To which he responded “well you can just leave now then.” To which I replied, “Unfortunately I’m late to my event so no I cannot “just leave” but that I could however write a bad review for the way in which he was acting.”
He then said “if you write a bad review I will call the cops on you!” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. In my ENTIRE life no one has EVER threatened to call the cops on me. And for what? Threatening to write a bad review, well guess what buddy here it is. Call the cops!
Shook from the confrontation I got in my car, now fearing my belongings were unsafe, and called the Tyler P.D. myself. They offered to escort me back to the premises after the event if needed.
Afterwards my husband and I stopped by, grabbed our things, and we just left.
I’ve honestly never experienced anything like that in my entire life and will warn everyone to avoid this place at all costs!
We went about 15 minutes north to Lindale and it was a night and day difference, so if in doubt please consider your safety and make that drive to Lindale!

This was a great overnight stay for only $95.00 as you can see in pics there's a shopping center adjacent and a convenience store on corner. Everything you may need is within 1 mile radius including a walmart and numerous fast food options. The place was nice and clean and the room was very accommodating having Everything needed. Including desk fridge microwave ironing board and iron,coffee pot as well. The free breakfast was great. Only complaint was the room didn't smell great. I got a non smoking room but smelled a little smokey. Overall great stay

Room was ok. Had to call the front desk because the door would not latch, was told to push down on the door handle to get it to work. Classy!

Was surprised at how well set up the room was for the price. Had everything I needed. The location was convenient to the highway I wanted to access following day. The staff was friendly. Only down side was the Free Breakfast. Only offered cereal. No hot items, no yogurt,no protein, no fruit, no juice. Wasn't that they ran out, I went mid service time. They simply had offered no choice .

rooms contaminated with bugs, deplorable cleaning, the refrigerator does not work. and if you don't check out at 11 and do it at 11:20 they will call the police saying that you haven't paid! 11am March 7. The photos of the dirt will be uploaded as soon as I get home

The room was great. The mattress was good. I didn't trust the carpet.BEWARE. The lady tried to charge us a $3 cleaning room fee. I told her no. It wasn't documented on the policy or on the booking app.Very dishonest people. I paid my $100 deposit in cash. When I came to checkout, she said Pooh. You paid in cash, she went to check the room.That's exactly why I didn't keep a card on file.I won't be back. I rather support a small honest business.

Rooms were nice and clean! Beds were comfortable. Shower was really, really slippery so be careful if you have little ones.

Not recommended, there is no breakfast at all, the coffee maker in the room is a pot and does not work, there is no bathing equipment, no soap, and the TV has few channels and it smells of humidity. The room is terrible.
