Great customer service! Also the cleanest Family Dollar I’ve ever been to. This is a great hometown store for residents in and around Chapel Hill. The employees truly care about their local customers.

Today I went in to get a few things and had the worst experience with this store. Let me first say I have gone here since 2017 for odd and ends groceries. I didn't get her name because I was so frustrated, but as I was checking out, I decided to make small talk about Diana Holmes. She is a local that had a house fire recently and the Chapel Hill fire department is having a findraiser for. The Family Dollar had advertisements about this taped to the checkout counter. 8×11 page. Once I said how sad it was about Diana's house fire, she didnt say a word and looked at me as if I was speaking another language. Then I repeated how sad it was about the fire I pointed at the advertisement, she still didnt say a word threw her hand up like "Who cares?"I hope this rep gets what she deserves because she was rude, disrespectful, and obviously does not care about others or have any remorse.I will not be returning to this store.

This is the worst store I have ever been to. They never have anything I need and their employees are unfriendly. I would rather drive the extra miles and go to the Overton Dollar General where they are always stocked and are extra friendly.

I Think they need to hire more help. Usually when you go in the check out clerk is no where to be seen and you have to hunt them down to get checked out. Not really blaming them for this. I think they just can't find anyone willing to work anymore.

Worst store I’ve ever been in. I’ve never seen anything like this before in my life. Poor cashier was new and was having a hard time. The line was super long and the Manager disappeared on him. Another cashier came to help out after a customer had to go find him. He threw our items and the chips landed on the floor and on top of that he had Slovak in his mouth and spat in the reach can right in front of us. I will never return AGAIN!!
