I am pretty much done shopping here! I used to go there and buy all kinds of stuff, specially jewelry. Seems they are trying to keep prices up with eBay or something... I had seen this store full of people every day at anytime... now it's empty and I don't see many people shopping there anymore. Seems the management doesn't notice or care. Looks like is more important sell something for $30 than 8 things for $4. All stuff is donated, for a good cause... well... the good cause of people shopping for low price is gone and I am sure it's affecting the good cause of helping the clinic. For some time jewelry was very expensive but it was ok because I still could find nice jewelry mixed with "kind of almost cute" junk and ugly junk. Lately I have seen only the junk and no nice quality jewelry. I know, by experience of years, that I could almost always find some nice pieces but now, where are those pieces going? I know they are for sure being donated as always. I wonder why they are not in the store. Seems someone is keeping them away from the public. Hope this is fixed... maybe I go check the store once or twice in the next 6 months see if something has changed.

Hangers of Hope has a great variety of items in their store. For thrifting it is a very clean and organized store. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bonus their business supports a great cause.

So this is the second time I’ve been here just to see the consistency and it holds up for sure. Yes there are some things not worth it to me but there are tons of things that you would not believe the price. So so much great stuff to buy there for next to nothing. 3 Under Armour shirts looking brand new for $19 total. I got a whole bunch of other things as well but that gives you a price idea. Most of the shirts I have gotten for my son are $2-3 a piece. Good amount of pants as well. And there are no flaws on them. I used to buy at name brand stores but I am definitely checking by here first from now on because there is definitely great quality stuff that I imagine kids just out grew and people took care of their stuff and then donated. Staff are friendly and the building is HUGE and I couldn’t get a picture of the whole thing so I just got the signs. You must check this place out to see what I am saying and hopefully you get there on a day with very good stuff. Thanks!!!

This used to be a good thrift shop, now they are so money hungry they charge more than you can go buy the same stuff for brand new at the store. They used to be an actual thrift shop and I've been shopping with them since they first opened in Broadway but the past 2 years they've increased prices so much it's not worth even trying to shop there. This is the most expensive "thrift shop" I've seen. Example is $28 for a pair of used overalls from target that cost $24 brand new at target and that's not even on sale! When brought to their attention they say they look everything up for the prices, that's a lie. They charge more for the clothes from Walmart and target than Walmart and target sell them for! It's absolutely crazy and they sell stuff from dollar tree for more too. Now they are opening another location, that means prices are going up again. $12-20 for simple dresses you'd pay $3-$5 for at any other thrift. The responses to all the negative reviews is it goes to a.good cause and running a health clinic cost a lot.... Yeah and you would sell more and be helping more people if you lowed your prices, you also wouldn't need the many shipping containers for storage build up because stuff would sell faster and wouldn't sit there for months.

I used to shop here. Then they shifted to I my opinion wanting to be a vintage boutique store. Even have a 'vintage" section that you had to pay before you could go back into the rest of the store. They would tag things with a paper showing what it is listed for on Ebay to justify the high prices. Stopped going at all.

Pros: Good selection of items, friendly workers, clean and organized store Cons: Bad music, high prices especially on new and "boutique" items

So dang expensive for used stuff, I found shirts that I could get at Walmart brand new for half the price. And the furniture I could find for 1/4 on marketplace.... The store was huge, but I bought nothing cause I could make my dollar stretch more at Walmart, and that stuff is brand new. If you're trying to save while gathering stuff for school, don't go here.

Wife purchased items from this location. Sells associate asked for donation after her transaction was completed. Wife respectfully responded no thank you. Hangers to hope decided that was not an appropriate response and charged my credit card $65.00 two minutes later without consent from me or my wife. State of Texas penal code list this as credit card abuse state jail felony. Spoke with manager about they want a receipt for purchase which I have in my possession for the initial purchase but not the $65.00 that again was not an approved transaction. There was not an approved transaction from us to them for anything after the fact of initial purchase. Credit card company and Tyler Police Department have been contacted in reference to this Criminal activity. Shameful! If they did it to me how many others have they done this to? Shame on you ! Form 13909 will also be filed.

OMG, these prices are insane! I fear this place is going the way of Goodwill. This absolutely is not thrift. You can find better prices at antique shops.I will be donating my items to St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store as I know they operate as a true non-profit.

Sadly ridiculously overpriced. If you don’t want to loose more customers it needs to stop. No inflation on free. The clinic only helps a small population of the community. There’s certain qualifications you need to meet. Only open some days a week for limited times etc. The clinic isn’t helping a huge population like the stores do. If you would lower the prices you’d get rid of merchandise quicker and wouldn’t need any extra “paid” staff to help sort and clean aisles through our the day. There’s so much out. There’s less buying and more cleaning. Some of your “employees” are volunteers, can’t say you have a large paid staff to compensate for pricing. There’s a lot of profit being made. Dresses are 12.99. Womens tops $10. Shoes range from $15-100. There was a dresser on sale for $1,299. Which was lowered to $399 because it has been there for months and you needed space. Still there at $399. Theres a different section for name brand items. The whole point is to find those items at a fraction of the price. That’s the bargain. The clothes college students, struggling families or individuals want to find. It’s cheaper to shop sales at hobby lobby, Target, Walmart or Ashley’s furniture store than through y’all. Years ago it truly was a bargain and helped the community, now it’s all profit. If that’s what y’all are doing now fine, advertise that. It’s consignment store pricing and high end thrift shop with little high end products.

This place use to be a place I would shop frequently, very organized, clean a very friendly staff & prices were great for a 2nd hand store. But with in the past yr when I go in there I’m beginning to second guess shopping there. Since when did a 2nd hand thrift store have outrageously high prices on used items? For a pair of UGG house shoes that the soles was very worn a the over all condition of tha house shoes was worn an u could tell but they was asking $60 for them ?. That’s just about regular price on a new pair!! I see this store taken advantage of the customers all the items they get are donated & HANGERS OF HOPE is price gouging it’s really sad a very unchristian like. Hopefully with all the negative reviews frm customers on the high prices they will come down the high horse they are on a sell items @ a thrift store price.
