While I am appreciative they took me 30 min to closing this is less then a week later and the missing nail was gone on day 2. The polish is peeling up and catching on things I don’t do a crazy hands on job rn so it shouldn’t be like this. Need to go back in to get it fixed. Also a side note these were not what I asked for my nails pic of my inspo was given what do yall think? I

Cindy has been here for 3 weeks and let me tell you she is absolutely amazing..my feet and legs became putty in her hands..the most relaxed I’ve been in a while. Make an appointment with Cindy….you will not be disappointed!!

I go to Hawaii Nails Bar because there is no harsh smell from the chemicals. Tom provided my last pedicure, and it is the best I've had anywhere in Tyler. He was attentive, gentle on my skin, very professional and kind. My feet were so soft and void of any roughness. They felt like brand new feet! I gave 4 stars because a couple of employees have been unkind and condescending. However, Tom gets 5 stars!

Don the owner did an amazing job on my nails, I tried something new and he explained it very well and sold me on it. Jon did my pedicure and did above and beyond. Absolutely recommend this place!!! Not only are the techs great but the decor and atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing.

This place is so peaceful!! Not a bunch of loud noises or loud music. Super relaxing. They treat you like an actual person not number, like some other places. Staff is beyond friendly as well! It's placed right next to a barbershop so if your husband brings you he can get his hair done too! This is a hidden gem!!

**update*** It is absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional for an owner or manager to respond in such an unhinged and unfounded manner. Bringing race into a situation where it has no relevance is unacceptable. In today’s climate, calling someone a racist is a serious accusation and should never be used as retaliation for being called out on poor customer service. This response reflects a lack of professionalism and judgment, and it’s evident that stepping away from the keyboard would have been the wiser choice. Good day ma'am I hope you can learn from this***
***I was not treated politely. I was cut off when I tried to check in, and the tone toward me was snappy and unwelcoming. My frustration was never about you being busy—it was about being treated rudely and then laughed at. I’m further dismayed by your response to my genuine review. Instead of being dismissive, accusatory, and defensive, this could have been an opportunity to listen, reflect, and improve. You may try to gaslight and backpedal in justify your behavior, but that's not behavior that is professional or acceptable. NO FURTHER RESPONSE WILL BE NECESSARY FROM ME, IT'S VERY CLEAR IN HOW YOU RESPOND TO YOUR CUSTOMERS IN THE TONE OF YOUR RESPONSES HERE, WHICH REFLECTS TRUTH IN MY REVIEW. **
****UPDATE: My request was simply to see if my issue could be addressed as soon as possible. The people seated were not customers but technicians I’ve had work on me before. My nail concern wasn’t a medical emergency. A respectful, solutions-focused response would have been appreciated over public assumptions and defensiveness. Came in with a broken thumbnail. Before I could even check in, a staff member interrupted, asked what I needed, then immediately said “we busy” — despite two techs sitting with no clients. When I mentioned they’re usually good about taking walk-ins, she made a comment in Vietnamese and laughed with co-workers.
If they were truly too busy, what was the point of asking me what I needed done? Asking the question only to turn me away proves my point — they decided I wasn’t worth their time.
I called to speak with the manager, and conveniently, he was “too busy” as well.
I left, went to D-Lux Nail Spa down the road, and was treated with respect and gratitude. Hawaiian Nail Bar lost a loyal customer in under 5 minutes.
