We had made an appointment to rent a car from them, and were told they had availability, however only after I had dropped my husband off (I had a medical appointment elsewhere) did they inform us they didn't have anything avaliable. (They could have told us this up to 3 hours beforehand, yet failed to)They told my husband they were closing in 30 minutes and literally kicked him out, not offering him a ride or an apology. He had to walk for over an hour until my appointment finished and I was able to pick him up. First thing the next morning I went in and they immediately gave me a car (after I expressed my annoyance) however the car was dirty and though they did apologize for their unprofessional behavior they also made a myriad of excuses which I believe to be false. Go to Enterprise instead, we've had a great experience with them.

So very happy with this place (SW Loop, Tyler Tx)!!. Had a confirmed reservation at Enterprise; walked in to hear that they have no cars today or for the next 2 days and no attempt made to contact me. When I expressed extreme unhappiness that I would now have to call in for work, I was told the area manager would call me, but never received a call. Thankfully Hertz next door saved the day with a clean fun rental and a better rate! Thank you Hertz!!!!

I made a reservation online, it said they have a car available. I call for an hour to confirm I had a car ready, but no one answered, so I got a ride to the branch office and the gentleman says they don't have a car available and there were a room filled with people waiting. So sad, they don't update their website and waste customer's time.

I came today to pick up my rental, there was an hr wait with 6 people in front of me when I got there with just one worker. George came and started the car and gave me the keys to a equinox. I left Tyler and traveled to port Arthur, tx when I received a call from GEORGE not to turn off the car because he gave me the wrong keys. This is 4 hrs from Tyler, tx I then had to call another hertz who had any vehicles available. None but one in lousiana which was 2 hrs outside of where I was traveling to had vehicles. GEORGE did not do anything to rectify what he had messed up. HERTZ has horrible customer service

After visiting the athins location and being informed they couldnt help as we were not on a waiting list and they had no cars the tyler location and the extremely awesome staff was the saving grace for this co.

Enterprise has made a mess up and out was going to force us to change our whole vacation plans since we needed a bigger car for the road trip. We were walking past Hertz after being really disappointed with enterprise at the airport. We stopped on a chance hoping maybe hertz could help us. Robert there at the desk went above and beyond to find us a car to fit our vacation needs. He did it with a smile and joked with us to calm us from being so irritated and frustrated with the other company. Robert was fantastic and more than happy to help us!

I rented a car for 9 days I turned it in on time and started getting 5 day late charges because the person in charge did not close out the account. Then I got a call because Hertz said I needed to return the car which I already did on the due date. Then they charged a higher rate than agreed on. Then they charged me an extra day. So after many calls to Hertz, supposedly I will get my deposit back with the credit they charged my account. So, a complete nightmare experience with the Hertz on loop 323. I will not rent from them again. Big lesson learned. But the People in credit, and others did their job to help fix the nightmare. So we will see if I get my credits back.

Staff were not customer oriented at all...I was greeted with "sup"?! Not a how can I help you...nothin...find a different location to rent from

Small office. Lots of screen time to get a car, $200 deposit, even with a credit card.....seems they are using your money for as long as you rent.
