Stay here often. The staff is always very welcoming. The rooms can definitely be updated but are not horrible. The kitchen is actually pretty good and the bar area is nice.

The front desk attendant Daniel was phenomenal. We arrived really late and he was quite professional and understanding. Room was clean and decent.

In some rooms, the drapes do not close but about half way and there is an exterior light that shines right in the room, making it close to daylight in the night. I had to engineer a solution with a pen (see photo). However, after further study in the next morning, I found the inner shade that serves to block the light. Doh!! Bed and pillows were acceptable. In the shower, they supply shampoo and conditioner, but strangely no body soap.Breakfast is not free ($12).Walkability: Not walkable, as most places in TexasFood & drinks: Breakfast is $12. Should be free or a lot cheaper.

After a long horrible nights sleep in a bed that constantly squeaked when you moved, we hungrily went down to have our breakfast that we paid in advance for. We were told that we would have a hot breakfast. When we asked about it and where the plates were, we were told otherwise. The staff member pointed to a bunch of cold pastries, bagels and bread. And told us we could have that and the cereals and the oatmeal. There was no protein options or gluten free options. Basically nothing I could eat. We paid for what was offered at other hotels for as their free breakfast. I had previously been to Tyler Texas and stayed in a La Quinta Inn and my breakfast - with far more options was free. The staff was extremely resistant to comping our breakfast. And said the manager was not in til Monday.Rooms: Bed squeezed terribly. Was very uncomfortable.TV too old to send Netflix from phone to it. Nothing good on the channels offered.Nearby activities: Food places are within 10-20 mins. Lots of restaurants in Tyler.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was outstanding. I want to give kudos & 5 stars to “Sydney” over at front desk, she went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, making my experience truly enjoyable staying there. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and accommodating stay.

I stayed in a few hotels in Tyler. This one is far better than the other ones.Sydney - front desk lead is the bomb. She is simply superb. She is so friendly and goes the extra mile. I witnessed how she handled a guest who was not happy with the food. She personally took the food back and fixed the issue and handled it with great customer service. She ensured the utmost service! She also loves the Hilton brand and speaks very highly. She is a great associate of Hilton that embraces and live their values!I will come back to stay here everytime I come to Tyler because of great people like Sydney.

There was a lot of exceptional staff members, everyone made the stay the best it could be. There was one front desk girl, who worked on Tuesday, December 5th and Thursday December 6th, in the evening. she was absolutely fantastic. In all my hotel stays, she has to be the most professional, personable, and competent employee I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. She is the reason for 5 stars. the hotel was clean and located in great spot.

I've stayed here several times for business and overall it's an ok hotel for the price, but I prefer to stay elsewhere.Good:-Pool and spa/hot tub are nice-Service is good-Close to Great Harvest Bakery (good breakfast spot)-Comfy bedsBad:-LOTS of traffic noise. Odd-numbered rooms face Broadway and windows don't block much noise. You will hear loud traffic usually till 1:30am or so then will get loud again with morning traffic starting around 5:30am.-Hotel Wi-Fi is 802.11n 2.4GHz. Ping is good at ~2ms, but you'll only get 6-10Mbps DL/UL.-No breakfast included, have to pay extra or purchase separateNoteworthy details: Traffic noise

The only Hilton Garden Inn to be found in Tyler, TX. This large facility features many amenities, including conference rooms, a business suite, indoor pool and hot tub.Rooms live up to Hilton standards and room service is provided daily, even if you are staying more than one night (this is not always the case across the country).Breakfast and dinner are available and made fresh to order. Their is also a bar serving a variety of beer, wine and stronger spirits.Plenty of free parking and is handicapped accessible. It is a solid example of the best Hilton has to offer.

Very clean. Nice staff. Good location. Had a fridge! Bed was comfy enough. The curtains don't close, so the hotel lights outside are glaring at you all night like spotlights.Nearby activities: Closer to hospitals, shopping, and eating
