I had the worst experience buying a pair of shoes, the lady's not even said a word to me I ask for a size,I paid and everything and bought lady's with a bad actitud, but my daughter wanted those shoes 11/19/2022

Valerie was great!!! She is an example of what customer service should look like. It is not always easy to take three small children into a shoe store. She made it easy and fun. Ask for Valerie when you go in.

My wife, two friends and myself go to the mall today to find a pair of shoes for an outfit. So, after perusing a couple of stores we run into Journeys. Dominique courteously asks me, not if I need anything, but "What are you trying to accomplish?" So I tell him and he goes on the computer and finds a 120$ red, white and blue pair of adidas. I tell him to let me think over it. Leave, come back about five minutes later to order. They are sold out. No problem, I suppose I'll buy a hat for one of my friends. Hat has no tag. Somehow I was conned into waiting for a manager to help... Well, time begins to creep.. So, I ask about a shirt. Yes, they have it in my size!! But... The guy who was getting it for me helped and offered help to a continuous stream of customers. Approximately 30 minutes later, with not a single item, I found the courtesy to apologize to the three people who were waitting on me to PURCHASE any or all of three items. So as far as I'm concerned, Journeys is not worth the effort that it took to create this review. I will not step into a Journeys again. My family will not waste their time.. I'll laugh and joke about the horrible experience with my friends. Back to Dominique.. Absolutely terrific! He deserves much better. Surely a store that made it ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for me to spend money cannot be capable of treating employees very well. Journeys, at the mall in Tyler, is by all definition, a waste of time. (Would be a zero star rating if Dominique had not been present, I'm sure.)
