My first visit. No appointment required. Posh salon with posh prices to match. Close to my new Flint home & Langs Chinese where I lunched before getting a pedi.

Angie was very patient and kind today. She was gentle with my broken arm while still getting my nails done so pretty. Because of my injury it took her longer than she’s use to but she never complained. My usual nail tech is Helen but Angie filled in for Helen today while she is on vacation. I was so pleased with Angie I will request her again when Helen is out. Please give Angie cuddos for a job well done, and a very satisfied customer!! (-:Services: Nail art

This was my first time visiting this nail salon. First let me say it was the BEST pedicure I have ever had, but then I got seated for my nails with a different tech. She worked very fast but not carefully. She drilled very roughly and then barely filed my nails. I said I didn't want square and you will see they were very wide and square. They weren't really smooth or even, and felt not sealed if that makes sense...two days in one chipped completely off top from opening a car door. I emailed them and went back in and they still charged me a 10$ fee....I had just paid 55. I NEVER complain about nails but my work friend had the same experience here. If you need a good pedicure, this is your place but I wouldn't recommend for nails.

Loann and Amy were great. My mom is 86 years and this is the first mani/pedi she has ever had. She lived it!Services: Men's manicures

This nail salon is wonderful from start to finish! Everyone is experienced, kind, and they pay attention to your specific questions and requests. I highly recommend trying them out! Plus they take appointments on weekends!

My last two visits here have been less than satisfactory. I made an appointment for a lash refill, nail dip, and pedicure and when I arrived they started with lashes and skipped the nail appointment with my requested person. After the lashes they told me to wait up front and after 20 minutes of no further communication, I left. This time I made an appointment with Joelee a week in advance to have my lashes filled right before vacation. I even inquired about her day off so there would be no problem. I arrived on time and was advised she and her family were not there or even in town. I showed the man at the desk my appointment confirmation on my phone and he called the owner. He relayed the message back to me that they were out of town to call back in two months. This is unacceptable and put me in a position to find someone to fill my lashes last minute before leaving town myself. Very unprofessional. Joelee and her salon came highly recommended, I’m sorry to say that I can no longer extend that recommendation.Services: Pedicure

This was the absolute worst experience my nails done and decided to try this place out since it was in close proximity of other errands I had that day. I have medium length natural nails. From the moment I sat down, the technician complained saying “your nails too long”. The entire time she proceeded to remove the old acrylic, she did not try and preserve my natural nails. She huffed and puffed the entire time. Then proceeded to continue to knick me with her drill, in which she never changed the bit/tip for their different purposes. When I complained after about the 4th cuticle knick, she blamed it on the length of my nails. I requested someone else finish my nails, and they wouldn’t do that. I couldn’t get out of this place fast enough! I honestly should have just walked out midway. Within ONE WEEK they had already started breaking and lifting. The acrylic that is left is now being held on with nail glue from Walmart!! I cannot wait until my nail appointment with a legitimate nail tech that will actually care for my nails. This is place is a joke and apparently only wants to do short nails that they can quickly turn out. Maybe they should place a sign on the door that they only want to do short nails, you know - the ones you can literally paint at home yourself. So, save yourself the time wasted here and the absolute waste of money. The pics attached are just two weeks after said service. I normally can get a full 3weeks in before any breaking or lifting. Again, all the breaks happened within ONE week.Edit- Dear Manager… I had to go buy nail glue from Walmart to keep the acrylic in place until my next nail appointment. Try re-reading, because I clearly state that my review is 2 weeks after being there on 5/19 (I have the receipt if you’d like it). Nice try though in trying to dodge responsibility. Sounds like you’re the one that needs to get off the high horse & learn how to run a business. Look at your replies to customer complaints. Pathetic and speaks more volume than any bad review from a “customer”.Service: Dip powder

Henry was super attentive and very polite. He did exactly what I asked for. I can’t thank him enough. He definitely has a regular now. I enjoyed chatting with him during the service as well. He made sure that I was taken care of and got my nails to the perfect length. Thank you Henry!!Service: Dip powder

Always great service at Nirvana. All of the technicians are great but if you have a favorite you can make an appointment. We have been going here for a couple of years and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend the lavender pedicure!

The work was nice, but the customer service needs improving. The tech Helen left me to work on one her regular customers. The manager lied for her by stating that the customer had an appointment which could not have been true, since she had already given the customer another tech. Whom was told by Helen to leave and she would do the customer’s manicure. I will not go back.Service: Acrylic nails

I’ve gone here for a little over a year and loved it but here recently the service has not been what it used to be(unless you ask for Kelly). The last 2-3 times I’ve been in, they rush through my nails(even when they’re not busy) and I leave unhappy. I’ve continued going despite this, but I won’t be returning.Service: Dip powder

Was recommended to go here. I asked for simple American Tips with a tapered shape. The place is lovely but my nail tech Kathy told me that she never went to school for it. Her cart was disorganized and while doing my nails complained about her families financial hardships. Not really what I was expecting for my first visit and after a $60 charge for nail service. Will not be going back at least with her as my nail "tech" or if she does have a license.Service: Acrylic nails

Paul was horrible and rude! He rushed through them and was finished with a full set in 10 minutes. My sister asked for acrylic and he did dip. He messed up my sister's nails and refused to redo them or even fix them. He then told her that she told him the wrong thing (which she didn't) and Brian was absolutely amazing he was super nice and did amazing on my design. He offered to fix my sisters but Paul would not allow him to. Make sure you don't get Paul and ask for BrianService: Nail art

Nirvana Here we are now, entertain us, I feel stupid and.... Wait. Oops.... Wrong Nirvana. This is my wife's second time here, my first time ever setting foot inside a Nirvana. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the layout and absolute cleanliness of the facility. We came here, primarily for my mom and my father in law. They're both up in age, one has Sugar Diabetes and the other has some health issues. Needless to say, we are relying on the experts to make sure they're trimmed and proper, and while we're at it, may as well get some pedicures ourselves. As Spock would say with a raised eyebrow, "Sounds logical." The pampering was on point. Foot soak, massage chairs, free beverages, and TV's for your viewing pleasure. I ordered the whole package, with trim, scrub, lotions, and wax, a little leg massage and finished with a hot towel. All very comforting stuff. As much as they tried, I denied any color finishing on my nails. With that all said, it was a good experience... and my only main complaint is (reason for 3 star rating)... WOW!! This ain't cheap. Not even close. Maybe I'm the cheap one, but after pedicures for two plus tip.... $200. $180 without the tip. I don't know about you, but I can think of other ways to spend that kind of money instead of a spa treatment... but... and this is the inner Sir Mix A Lot coming out... a BIG BUT ()... that it was definitely a treat. Sorry, don't have any pics to contribute, but will finish with this... great location, staff, facility, service... just overpriced in my book. I come from the NW, and used to prices being 2-3 times more, so this was a shock to me. In total, between the 4 of us, left paying just under $400. Anyway, as always, enjoy and happy nail biting.
