My internet service has been degrading for two weeks now. It's to the point that if I try to send a screenshot on Discord, it bricks my internet. Find a different provider. I'm getting Frontier to install next Tuesday.Update: My phone provides better internet ?.In response to the reply: I have called for support. All I get is your automated bot telling me to reset my modem. Geez, such great help.

On Saturday 11-18-2023 @ APPROXIMATELY 11:15 am, I RECEIVED A RING DOORBELL ALERT OF A PERSON DETECTED. OPENED THE APP TO FIND A SUPPOSED OPTIMUM TECHNICIAN AT MY DOOR. HE CLAIMED HE HAD A SERVICE REQUEST FOR MY ADDRESS. I TOLD HIM THERE WAS NO SUCH REQUEST AND ASKED WHY WOULD HE SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE AND ORDERED HIM TO LEAVE MY PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. HE REFUSED AND I WAS FORCED TO CALL 9-1-1. HE FINALLY LEFT AND THE WHITEHOUSE POLICE DEPARTMENT CAME OUT AND MADE A REPORT. HIS TRUCK HAD NO FRONT LICENSE TAGS.

Not sure if this is a East Texas thing but your better off with At&T. Just trust me when I say thisUpdate 11/15/23If I could give negative starts I would this company is the worst company I've ever dealt with no wonder you guys changed names 3 times Suddenlink altice USA to optimum terrible company with terrible Internet I work from home and this company has made the experience intolerable. I'm switching to another company today

Worst technical support ever! made me call every phone number, and "Oh, this is not the right number" worst experience ever. Would definitely not recommend! And they overcharged me 170 dollars, still haven't got that back!

Do not join this cellular company, I’ve tried to close my account 4 times still unsuccessful. Had to cancel my card to not get charged. Thank goodness my phone never transfer over to this mobile company or I would have been stuck with this terrible company or had to buy a whole new phone from not being able to get out cause they refuse to let you go even though they will tell you that your account is closed they will lie and keep it open. It’s impossible to leave. Do not I repeat do not join this fraudulent company. They will not be around much longer trust me.

Believe the 1 star reviews. Optimum is by far the worst provider I have ever used. Internet cuts out constantly which is a HUGE issue for those of us who work from home. Customer service is awful. Go with literally anyone else.

Starting in May 2023 we noticed our internet speed drop to less than 1/2 of what we are paying for (1 gig). Then we started having internet interruptions 5-6 times a day requiring us to reset our modem to restore service. Multiple calls to customer support and 2 tech visits later and they can’t fix the problem. It’s obviously on their end but no one will admit it. My wife works from home and needs stable internet service.I’ve been a customer for 19 years and I’m looking for a new provider.
