So surprised to see such low ratings. I had an AWESOME experience purchasing my vehicle from Patterson. Worked with Conan who was incredible. Even the financing was straightforward. And to be honest, I was dreading purchasing from a dealership due to past experiences but it was actually very pleasant. Everyone was personable and professional. No one was pushy or unethical. Highly recommend!

I bought a 2021 Hyundai from Patterson with warranty. The car began to shake as I was driving in June. It was "fixed". In July driving the car and the car alerts that the battery is being depleted and to stop the car. I was in the middle of traffic. In August car began to shake while driving and returned to the dealership to fix. After the second time I took the car to the shop in August, I found out they never fixed the car in June. Read the service records. In October Hyundai refused to fix a part on the vehicle. Sent a letter to corporate and Hyundai USA. Hyundai USA called one time at the beginning of October. Patterson has yet to call despite me leaving the car at the dealership. I never went to the used car lot. I was intending to buy a 2023. I only bought the car after being assured the warranties would be the same and that there where no mechanical defects. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the txdmv.gov. In addition, I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Do not buy a car from here. The customer service is awful, after purchase. In addition, I just read a post on next door about Patterson Hyundai not fulfilling warranty items.

Is there a negative star I can select? OMG, what a sh!t show. First time a software update took 2 weeks. Second time, another software update, 2 weeks. Third time, a recall for a fuel filter and recall for paint chipping. I was told 10 days and they can work both problems at the same time. Update was then adjusted to 20 days, then at the 20 day mark updated to 30days total. Meanwhile I'm driving a rental car and coordinating my commutes, work and the hour drive to the dealership. Then they tried to charge me for the recalls! Then they tried to double charge me. my original bill went from $2k+ to $500. When i finally went to pick up the car and called ahead to verify it was ready, it wasn't ready when i showed up and said i still had 2 more days. I talked to the service Manager Ben and he apologized and explained he was new to the company still. I then pointed out to him the information flow isn't happening and this is his area to fix. He knocked $100 off and I had to pick up my car the next day. After driving it to and from work for 3 days only, my car was running very rough with the check engine light on. I text Ben directly and he said bring it in and set me up. So they said it was the #4 cylinder and needed to get in there to fix it and if they were going into the engine they should also replace the ignition coils. Then gave me a quote for $750+ when the engine was running perfectly before. Almost makes me wonder if they sabotaged my car. What a POS place, research Terrell, TX Hyundai if you have to go to a dealership. Their reviews and customer service is much better. BTW, took my car to the local mechanic and he just trouble shot the problem and changed the spark plugs plus more work and it runs perfectly now for half that price$$$.

Diagnosed wrong problems. I was supposed to get a refund but didn’t. I was without a vehicle for months. It ended up being a minor issue. Spoke to several different managers and they would never get back with me. I had to give up on them making it right.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Worst service I’ve ever dealt with. It took a month for them to take my car in and actually fix the problem with my engine. They priced me $1200 for my AC to be fixed but priced my dad who paid for it only $650 for the same ac fix. 2 days after getting it back from it being at the shop for almost 2 weeks, my heater doesn’t work. They also left some cover hanging down off the bottom of my car when I picked it up. Worst service department to deal withServices: Electrical repair

I own a 2021 jeep gladiator and the radio is cutting off. I've been here three times and they still wont replace my radio.My jeep stays there 8 hours at a time and they wont even give you a call back.If you really want good service go to Platinum jeep in Terrell tx because Patterson doesn't care for their customers.Service: Electrical

Chris/Kirk responded with surprise. And they said to let them know if there was anything they could do in the future. This is an example, to me, of a business that doesn't intend anything in the way of correction. Many companies do this on Yelp to appear responsive but go no further. If the response was sincere they could ask the other service advisors to take a guess who the person is whose behavior is in question.

I have make 3 calls over a 2 week perios. I have left both messages with a peron and left vm. Still no one has returned my calls. The last call I made was Monday 8/15 so I won't bother them with my business. Does anyone know where else to take a Hyundai in Tyler?
