3710 Westway St, TylerWe normally board our dog, Stormy - at another place, but they were fully booked … and honestly, I’m so glad they were. It led us to The Groom Room, and the experience was incredible.
Not only did they take great care of our dog while overnight boarding, but her grooming was on a completely different level. She smelled amazing, her coat has never been this soft and clean, and her nails are so perfectly trimmed she doesn’t even tap down the hallway anymore!
Every other grooming she’s had doesn’t even compare. We’re so impressed - and officially switching to The Groom Room from now on. ✨

Dr. Twomey had the compassion to believe in my fur baby and continue treating him, seeing that he has a good quality of life even though he is paralyzed from his rear legs. He never judged my decision and immediately took action to care for him 4 years ago…and still remembers him to this day. ? Dr. Twomey is incredibly kind, and I don’t see myself ever changing vets.

Additionally, the Dr and the staff are amazingly friendly. He has saved a number of cats and dogs, some of which roam around the office. A great experience, and my dog's teeth are pearly white.

3101 Shiloh Rd #131, TylerThis is the best locally owned pizza restaurant in the city. Where do I even begin? There's so much positive to say about this pizza restaurant. Let's start with the owner. She is amazing and makes the most delicious pizzas. Very rarely. Not only is it rare to have a female-owned business but to have a black female owned business in East Texas? It's almost impossible to find. The pizzas as you can see for my photos. They are loaded from end to end with toppings. One thing I hate about a pizza is when a restaurant skimps on toppings. You will never have to worry about topps Pizza skimping out on toppings. It doesn't matter what you order the meat lovers, pepperoni, the cheeseburger pizza, the chicken. Alfredo, they will all be loaded with the perfect amount of toppings, sauce and cheese. The pizzas will be baked perfectly. My absolute favorite is that they allow you to do half and half pizzas. That's perfect for somebody like me who loves to try different pizzas but doesn't want to commit to a whole pizza just in case I don't like it. It's also perfect for families with picky kids because they can each choose the pizza they want. There's no extra cost to order a half and half pizza and that is really unheard of nowadays. Most restaurants want to nickel and you to death but not here. Topps Pizza is definitely a hidden gem in town and I highly recommend them. Some people complain about the price but compared to national chain restaurant the price is just fine for the quality of food you're getting.

If you decide to try it, I definitely recommend calling ahead since seating is limited and they stay busy for good reason. The burgers were huge and loaded with fresh ingredients, house-made sauces, and homemade pickles. I ordered the Boudin Burger, and it was exactly what I wanted — a little spicy with that crispy fried texture that made every bite so good. Jackson and Hunter both went for the double cheeseburger, and Jimmy ordered the TERMIGATOR BURGER — a cheeseburger topped with gator bites. Even the alligator meat was tender and flavorful, not dry at all. The quality of the meat really stood out to us, and honestly, everything we tried impressed us. But I have to make a special mention of the fries because these were, hands down, the BEST fries I’ve ever had. We tried both the regular and sweet potato fries. The regular fries were thick, soft on the inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and coated with a slightly spicy seasoning that made them impossible to stop eating.

The coffee was good i just made the mistake of asking for the lavender syrup which is usually a hit or miss with some places. Mother mary portraits are everywhere but honestly they did it in such a way it feels like cozy decor. Also they have gluten free bars on the counter! So you wont be left out from a sweet treat

Always the best staff and food. There's no reason to drive to Dallas and be disappointed. Kiepersol is the Diamond your looking for. Robin is the best host and Grady is a great server. The made the Kiepersol experience epic.

I sat down to eat, but couldn’t finish and got up and left because of how hot it was. As much as i love this place I won’t be back until this is fixed! I guess I’ll just have to order Togo. Burgers are fresh homemade not frozen patties and juicy.
Prices are affordable and cost around the same price for a burger fries and drink at whataburger except whataburger are frozen patties.
Service was excellent as well. I will definitely return when I'm in Tyler,Tx.

We got an almond croissant, a strawberry & cheese croissant, and a cappuccino with Lavender. It was all so good! As we sat and finished our food we watched as customers came in again and again to grab their favorites. It was cinnamon roll day and all we kept hearing was how good they were. It was early and they were already almost out. Intrigued by their popularity we decided to also get one. OH MY GOSH!!! I’m so glad we did!! That was the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had! And now I just get to crave them until someday when we’re traveling back through Tyler. Hopefully it’s on cinnamon roll day! ??

3323 N NE Loop 323, TylerMy wife and I just got married yesterday, and well, needed a hangiver cure. I have eaten menudo from the Rio Grande Valley all the way up to Oklahoma City. El Jilo's menudo rivals them all. It is on point. Slight heat that grows as you eat it. For $15/ container, you cant beat that with a stick. 20 out of 10. Thank you El Jilo's, yall made this new married couples tummys very happy and cured the hangovers as well. I found my menudo spot, now to try the rest of the menu.

We had 2 granddaughters with us both of whom ordered off the children's menus. Usually they need a bit of coaxing and reminders to eat, but not here. They ate their entrees, but could not finish the generous portion of french fries with their meal.
The complementary Blue Bell was a big hit, with nice generous servings.
My husband loves the chicken fried steak, declaring it better the second time around.
A busy place means the wait staff is bustling, but not to busy to stop and be friendly. The gentleman bussing tables was also personable and eager to help.
The PRICES! They can not be beaten in these difficult economic times.
Thus is sure to become one of our favorite places to dine.

The Humane Society's Pets Fur People
1823 County Rd 386, TylerI had a very emotional and difficult situation involving my dog recently, and I truly appreciate the kindness, patience, and professionalism the staff showed me during the entire process. Even while I was upset and overwhelmed, they treated me with compassion, listened to my side, and never made me feel judged.
The director and staff took the time to speak with me, explain everything, and work with me regarding the situation and vet fees so that I could bring my dog back home. Their understanding and willingness to help meant more to me than words can explain.
You can tell this shelter genuinely cares about both the animals and the people involved. I’m very grateful for the way they handled everything and for giving me the opportunity to make things right. Thank you again to Kat and the entire staff for your kindness and compassion.
