Dr. Shams went above & beyond to get to the issue with my cat Echo, & displayed true concern, compassion, & professionalism. The office is very clean & professional. Highly recommend.
Coming back 3 months later to leave an additional review for this wonderful office. Dr. Shams has helped me nurse a sick kitten back to health with severe worm infestation, fleas, needing fluids & antibiotics. Thanks to Dr. Shams & the team at Pet Veterinary Clinic, I have a healthy & happy kitten. All the staff at this clinic have been great, return calls in a timely manner, listen to my concerns, & this clinic is very reasonably priced with excellent, efficient service.

Always recommend Pet Veterinary Clinic when people ask for recommendations! We love our clinic! Dr. Shams and his team always work so well with our dog. He’s a big baby when it comes to his visits and they work so well with him, and try to make him feel at ease. We have gone for both regular checks and for other issues and have always been impressed with how they try least invasive measures first, and don’t try to up-sale to make it more expensive. They are reasonably priced and give quality care!

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the outstanding services Dr. Shams provides for my animals. What truly sets him apart from other veterinarians is his commitment to exploring all options before recommending invasive procedures. This last visit, I took my dog to him for a second opinion before considering surgery for her condition. Dr. Shams went above and beyond to explore alternative treatments and tailored a plan that addressed my dog's health issues before we needed to resort to surgery. Not only did his plan help to treat her condition without surgery, she has not had issues for months since the visit! I am immensely grateful for the expertise, integrity, and genuine care exhibited by Dr. Shams. Dr Shams and his staff are the best. They take care of our mini schnauzer, whatever the need. From shots, grooming to even boarding him. He’s our baby and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care!

I had the worst experience of having my dog neutered. Avoid Dr. H. Shams, he lied about the price of the procedure and overcharged me. I offered to send him the phone recording but of course, he declined it. I supplied a recent copy of the blood work needed to perform the surgery from my other Vet and he agreed to use it but charged me for one he supposedly took but didn't offer the test results. This Vet has a bad (fake) English accent and I can only assume they do business differently over there. I'm filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Veterinary Board, taking him to small claims court, and submitting a permanent Rip-Off Report online which will follow his practice forever...all you have to do is google his clinic. You will see my story in detail. We must hold Vets accountable for their shady business dealings.

Have never been so disappointed as I was today. Our dog Oakley has been seen by this vet twice for about a total of almost $600. Paid at time of service both times. I called to ask if we could bring him in Saturday because his ears are bothering him again. I explained my husband is a teacher and got paid again Monday and asked if we could wait until then to pay. Otherwise he would have to wait until next Saturday as Saturdays are the only days we can take him on. However, I didn't want him suffering. The vet refused to see him unless we paid same day. We have a zero balance and a debit card on file. Didn't matter to the vet who only cares about the money. Never will be back and wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

We had to say goodbye to a beloved cat. The doctor was very sympathetic and explained exactly how our pet we be put to sleep and we could hold her as long as we needed and then they would take her away for the final procedure. A more caring group of people would be hard to find.
