I took my Yorkie in for nail trim. We had the best experience. I was warmly welcomed by Anita and all the groomers. Zoie did the nails, so patient and caring to my dog. đ¶ I found everything that I needed!

First time our fur baby had a bath in a while and Wes was her groomer. Needless to say her groomer will always be Wes from here on out. Impeccable service and also walked her out for me since I had our baby in her stroller.

Staff was helpful and are very knowledgeable as always. The store is well stocked with a good variety of food. I started shopping there 2 years ago when moving to Tyler. I continue to see the same faces which can only mean this store is a good place to work as much as it is to shop.

Petco: A âTailâ About a Dog Biscuit and a Pet Adoption
It all started with a biscuit.
Not just any biscuitâthis one was peanut butter-flavored, bone-shaped, and sitting in a wicker basket by the checkout counter at Petco. A golden retriever named Buddy locked eyes with it the moment his paws hit the tile floor. His nose twitched, tail wagging furiously, as he dragged his leash (and his foster mom) straight to the prize.
Meanwhile, just three aisles over, a young woman named Rachel was wandering the store, unsure of what she was even looking for. She wasnât planning to adopt a pet. She had only stopped by to pick up fish food for her roommateâs aquarium. But then she saw himâBuddy, biscuit in mouth, eyes full of joyâand something clicked.
The foster volunteer chuckled. âHeâs got a nose for treats and a heart of gold. Been waiting a long time for his forever home.â
Rachel crouched down, meeting Buddy eye-to-eye. He dropped the biscuit at her feet like an offering, tail sweeping the floor like a broom.
It wasnât just the biscuit. It was the way he looked at her, like she was already his person.
By the time Rachel left the store, the fish food was still on the shelfâbut Buddy rode shotgun, biscuit crumbs on his chin and a brand-new collar around his neck.
At Petco, sometimes the smallest treat leads to the biggest changes.

I had 4 fish, the same 4 that I got almost 3 years ago that have never been anything other than healthy. I decided to get a Placo to add to the tank, the employees failed to mention that the placo I was getting was mean to Gold fish, and to no surprise they attacked my fish, of course I went back up to the store to get medicine due to the fish developing fin rot from stress and thatâs when they tell me âoh those wonât get alongâ. I was handed Melafix. The Melafix killed all my fish.

I always get my bulk kitty litter here. There is no other place where you can get 30 lbs for $13.00. The litter is from the region where you live and my 4 cats love it. Meet Shadow, Mister, Yackie, and Zoey.
