Griffin and the Peters Autosports team are simply amazing. Griffin was able to get me into my dream truck (Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro) with zero hassle. I drove from Katy to Tyler (4hr drive) and would do it all over again. Zero pressure, awesome deal, and all around great guys! I have a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited I need to sell to take care of some medical needs for my wife, diagnosed with MS. I shared this with Griifen, the salesperson, whom didn’t even introduce himself to me, until AFTER I gave him my name, at least 10 minutes after meeting him. My guess is because I was honest with him upfront and told him, “ I’m only here to sell and not here to buy.” When first arriving to their lot I asked to speak with the purchasing manager, which went in one ear and out the other when requesting so with Griffen. As a veteran car guy whom has sold for 4 years, moved up to Finace Manager for 4 years, then onto Finance Director for 6 years and then eventually General Manager for 3 years, let’s just say I was so unimpressed with my experience with Griifen, that I felt obligated to write this review. I have literally sold books I’ve had published on how “NOT” to buy or trade a car! Granted (as I shared with Griffen), I’ve been out of the car business for at least 4 years by now, and have ventured out to do my own thing. Short story long, I finally got my offer for my Cherokee (which wasn’t long at all) and it was LITERALLY almost HALF of what I paid for it not even a year ago, with it in PRIME condition; mechanically, exterior and interior and with half the miles on the odometer than the avg Make/Model my same vehicle I possessed had on it!! “Chris,” the manager I originally asked to speak with, graced me with his presence to present the ever-so-insulting figure to me, that my vehicle is worth. Chris was pleasant, I will not deny that. He did not sound condescending while explaining to myself, a 17-yr veteran with a very successful track record, “why” it was that my vehicle was worth so little. FYI, my exact same vehicle is selling, on average for $42,000 with DOUBLE the miles on it at every dealership within a 250 mile range from me, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, Their offer was BY FAR the absolute LOWEST offer given to me amongst the 7 entities I’ve reached out to in the last 4 days!!! My offer from Peters Automotive (Tyler) was LITERALLY $6,000 less than my best offer so far! Not only was there NO interest in knowing my name, literally asked for ZERO personal info from me (other than my VIN#) which we ALL know is highly unheard of @ any Retalier, I was given ZERO empathy about my wife being diagnosed with MS and can’t even drive her own vehicle anymore, and is the very reason I was trying to sell it. I guess that’s the old car guy in myself talking, but ultimately I just wanted to share that you should 100% absolutely “shop” the vehicle you are trying to sell or trade BEFORE dealing with Peters Automotive of Tyler, TX!!!!!! It all boils down to $$$ right?!?! So forget the complaint about them being apathetic towards my wife’s diagnosis and not caring to get to know me, and take heed to the fact that a seasoned car guy KNOWS what he’s talking about! Perhaps if they actually took the time to get my personal information, they could reach out to me and ask me to remove this very-deserved negative review!!As ALL dealerships do!!’ Whomever the Dealer Principle is for this particular Lot, maybe take this as lesson learned, bc we BOTH know how much a 1-star review can hurt you! GOOD LUCK MAKING SUCKERS OF ALL YOUR FUTURE CUSTOMERS! BTW, I wished both Griffen and Chris a Merry Christmas when leaving, and both said NOTHING in return. I mean if you want that to represent your Dealership, then go ahead. One could always do better, no matter how well you are doing Mr Peters!

Great experienced my salesman was Perry I called Saturday time they open and a Buick Envista and Perry got me what I wanted. My car broke down 10 mins away from the car lot he came and picked myself and mother up and took us all the way to Longview where my my Envista was waiting on me. Everything that could go wrong that day did but Perry and chuck was so helpful even when I was getting frustrated their Pleasant attitude made it better.
