Eighteen months ago I bought a $1400 power lift recliner from Southside Furniture. Although the sales and service was good at the point of sale, the customer service a year and a half later leaves much to be desired. 18 months from the date of delivery the power lift portion of the chair stuck in the up position and would not move. Although I knew it was out of the warranty on the parts I called to see if they could service the chair. I was told they no longer sold Mega Motion chairs and since they now sell mostly Ashley furniture they wouldn't/couldn't provide service. When I asked who they might recommend to service the chair they didn't know and couldn't help me. After a bit of researching I was able to order the part online from Ashley/Franklin furniture and will repair it myself by removing the two bolts and cotter pins that hold it in place and reconnecting the power cord. Needless to say, Southside has lost any future business from me.

Went in to just look around and was greeted by the most kind and caring sales lady jenn she wasnt pushy but new the items on hand and tried to help us make good decisions instead of just to sale so i give her a great thumbs up she a great worker

My wife and I bought over $6000 worth of furniture from them. The couch almost burned due to something in the console, my recliner broke 2 times. They came out and fixed them. Then our oldest son was in a bad motorcycle wreck and almost lost his life. We had to get a recliner that he would be comfortable in. Well it broke, of course. I don’t understand they way they handled this warranty. I’m done. I’ll go somewhere that actually appreciates it customers.

I really wanted to support your store as I have purchased in the past and always want to support local businesses. I was there today and helped by JJ, who was great. When I then went to pay (in cash) the two men at the front never said a word to me except to say delivery will be Wednesday when the sales associate said since I lived less than a mile away they could probably fit me in. I probably would have been ok with the change in delivery but the men at the front had terrible customer service skills and quite frankly acted like they didn’t want to be working nor did they care if I purchased from you or not. I hope you will consider training the people better who are taking our hard-earned money. It wasn’t your furniture that caused me to change my mind right before paying..it was the bad customer service. Also, I’d rather you not respond to this at all if you’re going to make me, the customer, wrong like you have in most all of your other replies to 1 star reviews. That is the very worst way to respond to bad reviews.

FYI CUSTOMERS!!!ALL SALES ARE FINAL WHEN BOUGHT/DELIVERED NO REFUNDS!I am now stuck with a rug that is too small and I cannot get refunded ($263) or exchange for larger size.This was not explained at time of purchase or delivery.Doesn't matter that I am financing almost $3,000 with them.

First Lady I spoke to very helpful and honest that she needed to refer me to someone else. Gentleman at the counter not helpful. Would not take the time to listen and acted as if I was a bother. Between my parents and my self we have bought quite a bit of furniture from Southside throughout the years. Will not be back.

What you see is what you get. No waiting for the item to be brought in from warehouse. The piece your looking at is the piece you take home, or delivered. Good prices, friendly sales staff.

I’ve been home bound for a long time but getting better & im coming to see y’all. Especially that gorgeous little red headed darling. I’ve watched the other girls grow up & anyone who has a negative remark about your fun loving commercial is 3 bricks shy of a load. My cousin just bought a lovely brown recliner & it’s comfortable & of good material. I think y’all are great and I look forward to the commercial. You go little darling!!!

My grandmother bought a recliner from them and when it was delivered the side of it was ripped. They have continued to not fix it now for several months and will not take the recliner back. She is out alot of money because of a mistake they made. They have been very rude over the phone to my family over this conflict.
