The Tyler Museum of Art is a good little museum. It is a small museum located near the TJC campus, but it is its own institution. The museum has a variety of artworks, with two different rotating exhibits that change regularly, approximately every one to two months. These exhibits feature select art periods and pieces, including local high school art, works by artists like Warhol and Lichtenstein, and other local and international masterpieces. The exhibits are limited in number, allowing visitors to really focus on and appreciate the art on display, with many finding the artworks interesting and emotionally moving. The atmosphere is dynamic and engaging, where culture can feel thrilling and unpredictable. Visitors can take photos unless stated otherwise. The museum also offers a family art day program. While compact, the museum provides an experience that is worth the time and a visit, ensuring your time will be well spent in viewing and learning. The facility also includes a gift shop.
The Tyler Museum of Art is definitely worth the trip! They have a great collection of paintings and a very friendly, welcoming staff. I loved the gift shop, too—lots of original, unique finds. Plus, today is their 55th anniversary! Highly recommend!!

Very interesting printmaking featuring women artists who were banned from printmaking guilds during 40s and 50s. They created their own guild.
