Exactly what I was looking for in a vet! Finally! I raise my dogs more naturally and have had trouble finding a vet. I usually go when needed then use a different vet the next time i have to go. I do not like feeling looked down on by the way I choose to care for my pets. Especially since i havent spent countless hours in research before i do anything that could affect my dogs. They are spoiled and happy and 99.9% of the time they are perfectly healthy. So with that being said why would any vet make me feel like I am not a good pet owner? I am by no means anti vet... but i do wait longer to go because of my dread of being judged and that just shouldn't be the case. Im sure there are others who feel the same. The last vet I loved was in San Antonio years and years ago. She practiced Eastern Medicine 90+% of the time but didn't judge me on only doing some things the way she preferred. It was my choice and she respected that. Having to find that same acceptance coming from the other side of things has been tough. I have now been twice to Tyler Veterinary and they were great. They did exactly what I want from a vets office. They loved on, treated, and cared for my dog... and also respected me and my choices. Wish more vets would take note ... whether eastern or western practicing vets.. not every pet owner will agree with you on everything 100% of the time... and thats okay. My vet does not have to agree or recommend my way of doing things (same as my vet in San antonio didnt agree when i wanted western medicine... she never made me feel bad just because it wasnt her first choice). As long as my dog is not being abused, mistreated, or malnourished I feel they should respect my choice regardless if it is their first choice or not. Kudos to Tyler Veterinary Center for finally giving me a place to keep taking my dogs. Only took me 8 yrs to find a place I don't have to stress about going to. Super happy and will be making an appt for my other boxer for a check up so they have him in the system if or when something major comes up.

The staff kept in contact during surgery and teeth cleaning. Even took before and after pictures of the teeth. This is a very expensive vet practice but you do get what you pay for.If your pet matters, bring them here.

Great customer service! They not only provide for both of my dogs, but always provide great care and follow up multiple times to see how your pets are doing. I will always have a dog, and as long as I’m in Tyler, this is the vet clinic I’m going to

Tyler Vet Center has been so amazing and helpful. I just adopted my dog last month and have visited them twice for rabies vaccine, nail trim, and X-ray/ultrasound for my pregnant pup. They are very kind, welcoming and friendly.

Dr Lancaster and the staff at Tyler vet center are the best. Quickly put our minds at ease about our pets when we relocated to the area....Impressed with the ultrasound used at our "Meet the Vet" physical on our dogs.

On January 25th I brought my pup Goldie here, they took great care of her, we got all the prescriptions she needed and they really made us feel at home. January 31st we went back to pick up some medicine to hold us through till her shipment came in, and unfortunately that early morning of February 1st she did not make it. They were so kind as to let us bring her medicine back in, we dropped her off with them to have her cremated and not even two days later she was ready. They made a stamp of her paw for us, (which I was not expecting at all) and returned her collar to us, and gave us a little box. They knew her for not even a week, and they treated us like we had come there all our lives. This is the best vet experience by far, that I've ever had. I for sure will be back with my other pup, and I can't thank everyone there enough for everything they've done for us.

Went here to get my cat spayed. Didn't realize it would cost $360 for a simple Spay plus another $112 for the "exam" and an additional $10 for "medical waste disposal". Anyways, I'm limping home due to them not using any lube on me. I won't be back.
