Purchased phone from Russell Cellular 1 week ago. Had issues with accessing my photos. Went in to the store on Shiloh Rd and was told if I needed help it would be a $40 service charge for the young lady to help me out. I asked for the store manager's name Grace and the lady told me that was Russell Cellular policy to charge all customers a fee if they don't understand how to get an issue solved. Needless to say I will be making several professional formal complaints to Verizon Corporate until I get this issue resolved. In my opinion I would not recommend doing business with this distributor of Verizon products based upon poor customer service performance.

The staff was friendly, however, they did say we could not do the curb side, due to being short-staffed, which is fine - walked in and they had three people in a not busy at all store. Then the hours are listed on the door, and they start an hour late and don't show up on Sunday, apparently, although the Google hours and store-posted hours are on the window. They need to update their stuff, apparently.

Dear owner I was at your store at Hwy 64 in Tyler yesterday and again today at about 1:00 pm attempting to pay for a phone I got the day before from your office. Your salesman told me I had to come back the next day and pay for it. Today I met your salesman Cody who told me then I would have to wait thirty days to pay for it. In expressing my disappointment he ordered me out of your store. I suggest you watch your security cameras and hopefully they have sound with it. After going back to my business down the street and finding another one of your other cell phone store to call a manger for your stores in this area, Cody called me on my cell phone. This lady heard the conversation from Cody and me. She said she would be calling the manger. If you like to visit with me in person please stop by West Tyler Veterinarian Clinic. I will tell about one of your employee if you choose not to check out your security cameras. Thanks, Mark Borah DVM

Went in to port my line over and take advantage of the free iPhone 12. Tried to sell me an iPhone 14, which I didn't need, and I told her I wanted the 12. Was told they didn't have it in store but she would order it for me so I could get that deal. I agree, and Port my number over from T-mobile, then she asks for payment before it's even activated. After activation the rep tells me she can't honor the promo since the phone isn't in the store. They need it activate it. At no time before that did she make mention of this. I'd have gone with another carrier. Waste of time. They don't have older models available in store to try and get you to purchase a newer one. Stay away from this place. On hold with Verizon customer service for nearly an hour to try and get this resolved.

Had a horrible experience. I arrived at the location around 5:25 pm, the location does not close until 7 pm. One employee was helping a customer and the manager would not come from the back to assist. The employee said it was because the manager was about to go. Well after 6 pm the manager was still in the store, and another customer came in but still no manager althought the employee door as well as the back door was wide open and you could hear the manager sitting and moving around. After being in the store for 45 minutes, the employee comes to ask how i can be helped. I explained my screen on my galaxy had stopped working. Without pulling up my account to check the status of my insurance, the employee and the manager both blamed me saying there was a small crack in the screen. I showed them my other galaxy that has cracks all over the screen and the screen still works. When i asked about my insurance, the manager then said, "oh i didnt know that you had insurance" no one asked or pulled up my account. I expressed my frustration with waiting so long just to be told that they could not help me at this location, the manager took it personal even though i calmly explained that my time was wasted when he could have come from the back and said this 30 minutes ago. The manager then explained that he could or could not be covid positive and this made me angry as to how verizon is allowing employees to be at a location where they could possibly be spreading covid. Because this upset me, the manager said that i needed to leave or else. How can he get upset that i was upset, if this was the reason he did not come from the back then that should have been made clear and he should have not been on duty first of all. I will never go in to this location ever again and deal with Josh and his staff or whomever that lady asked for.

Kevin is "Awesome!" He is an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable and very patient with customers. Kevin took time with me insuring I was completely satisfied with my phone purchase, and helped me set my new phone up. He also told me if I had any questions or needed help with my new phone, I could recontact him at the store or by phone. I feel very fortunate/blessed to be a customer /friend of Kevin's. Amye Lynn

Spent 30 mins in the corporate store just to be told that the phone I wanted was out of stock and would have to be ordered. I walk into Russell Cellular and they had me out of the store in 10 mins with my phone and a case to protect it. Thank you very much.

Jude was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process! He was honest and even showed us in detailed why we made the right choice in picking our new Samsung 21 +. Not only that, he was able to multi task and help multiple customers and answer calls while servicing us! Awesome!!!

Would not consider this store to anyone. Left sprint to come over to verizon. Was at this store for 5 hrs. Manager would not help but only answered questions. Since then we have 2 lines. Being billed for 4 lines. They have lied about several things just to get the sell. I wished the other verizon store had phones and I knew what I know now. I would have never walked into this store. Lucky to get 1 star. This has been a nightmare. Thanks Verizon.

When you drop by Russell Cellular for help with a connectivity issue, they not only greet you but also fix the problem then and there. This kind of experience has happened to me three times over the last two months. I never fail to get a warm greeting and have my phone problems solved. I recommend highly this particular Verizon authorized retailer. Friendliest and most competent Verizon store I have ever met in my 12 years of using Verizon products!Ed MoranTyler, Texas

My husband and I have used this store for a few years. We walked in about a hour before closing, asked for help and were rudely told we are busy and will be tied up. They didn't even bother to find out what we needed.
