A far cry from the local Subaru dealer who wasted our time and tried to bilk us out of our 2015 Forester. Nothing but lies and disrespect. Slicker than boiled onions and not worth a beer fart in a whirlwind.
Jon was a breath of fresh air. As a matter of fact the entire Mitchell family worked there and added immensely to the credibility of their operation. Professional, friendly, respectful service - the only way it should be here in Texas.
My wife and I are grateful and blessed to have found y'all.

They did an outstanding job on rebuilding my transmission. I couldn’t be happier with the results
They honor their warranty and they work 100%
This is my go to mechanic shop from now on and whenever I have any issues with any of my vehicles, this is where I’m taking it

Amazing service!! My radiator hoses had broken and coolant was leaking everywhere, needless to say my vehicle was inoperable. After calling the ford dealerships and getting the run around and ridiculous return times, I called Universal City AAMCO and they immediately were able to get me in and service my vehicle. Not only were they able to service my vehicle but they also arranged a tow truck to come and pick up my truck at a very fair rate. They did all the leg work for me during my crisis which was a huge weight off my shoulders. The mechanic that I spoke to was very kind and respectful and explained everything that was going on with my truck. It was a very last minute emergency and they were able to get my truck back up and running within a day or two. The incredible service didn't stop there! Once my truck was ready, they even came and picked me up to retrieve my vehicle! I was completely impressed by, not only their astounding service to my truck, but their all around immense effort to get my truck up and running and back to me, and of course their kindness! I will most definitely be returning to Universal City AAMCO for any future vehicle maintenance or issues that may arise. Thank you so much AAMCO, you are greatly appreciated!!

I wouldn't take my vehicle to this shop just verbal phone communication was a pain, after explaining the symptoms experienced multiple times whoever was on the phone couldn't understand I explained everything I knew...skip this location at all cost. Red flags all over.

My son’s vehicle died while driving and was needing a repair service immediately. Called Aamco and without any hesitation, Jon said bring it in we will take a look at it. Jon and his team were quick with the diagnosis and provided me with a plan of action. Jon and his team are extremely professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and provide quality work at a reasonable price. Thank you for getting the car back on the road sooner than expected. Contacted dealership & they refused to give me just an estimate & it took 8 calls just to reach someone. I called AAMCO on Pat Booker & the call was answered on 2nd ring. Spoke to John, explained situation of engine light with the readout & he listened. Let me know about diagnostic fee & how it works to fixing the issue. John was totally upfront & we dropped off my car & John called me with working on my car. Picked up my car the next day around noon & it runs so much better!! Good price with them giving me my military discount as well!

So we needed help with car issues and took it to a reputable dealer that we thought has been around quite a while. How refreshing to find this knowledgeable and kind family man owns this place! He was able to get us a used transmission, install it, assist with helping add a catalytic converter, and this man cleaned our car seats that were unable to be cleaned by this old girl who tried many times (being a used car) So I took his card and just had to brag about his kindness and knowledge and I shared my favorite realtor with this dog lover (we are too) Nice to know they do other things than just transmissions. So Jon, just for the record, if you ever read this: my husband is ecstatic over how smooth our car drives now! I can’t thank you enough!!

Jon and his team literally resurrected a car sitting in our driveway for over 18 months. Multiple locksmiths came out to diagnose the issue but it wasn't until we contacted Aamco that we saw progress. From a no hassle tow to diagnosing and fixing the key issue. Now the car starts and runs great! Thanks to Jon and his team my husband has his own vehicle again!
