So far the BEST customer service and quickest place I’ve gone for an oil change . Joe and Mike amazing service. Very well explained and patience. I have a 2024 Toyota vehicle that every place was giving a hard time for oil changes but these guys got it done ✔️ I’ll be returning to this location only . 10/10.

Pros: Staff are nice and informational. Have the military discount on the notes in the system since I lost my keychain.Cons: Where do I begin. I went in on Thursday morning to just get an oil change but ended up getting a new filter and my coolant flushed since it was about that time. Told the worker that I didn’t have lots of money to spend but gave me some discounts (positive). However later that day when I was driving the car it had overheated. It was very scary because I was on 1604 with my dogs and it was almost impossible for me to move over and get out. When I inspected the car we found that the radiator hose was not properly secured and had been rubbing against the belt causing it to make a hole and have steaming coolant spurting all over my engine.I had told my husband what happened and we had to have the car towed. He went back the next day and told them what happened. Their manager was not in and they said he would give us a call. Ended up getting a call on Saturday and when we called the number the mailbox was full. Went in again on Sunday and they said he wasn’t in, called Monday afternoon and he had said that it was not their responsibility for what had happened. They were the only people that had lifted the hood of my car and had worked on it. They had told me that they do not mess with anything but the cap of the coolant but then how did my radiator hose get loose and damage my car?Now we have to take the car in ourselves and fix the damage that was done because they are not liable and it wasn’t their error. Didn’t have a lot of money to spend and now ending up having to pay $200 extra to get it fixed and they have to flush the coolant so I pretty much wasted $100 getting it done. Due to this issue and them not taking responsibility I will not be coming back to this location or any other Take 5 locations. Just getting my oil changed at a real automotive shop.

My experience at the Take 5 was awesome! I have no complaints. I went here for an inspection and my tech was Martin. He was nice and respectful, knowledgeable about my inspection. I know I will be coming back! Everyone there seemed like they were enjoying their job! Happy techs happy customers!

I enjoyed going to this location because i Thought they were fast an efficient, but I will not be returning. My vehicle had gone in for an oil change and a coolant flush, everything seemed normal until the car started leaking fluid only a few hours later. While on the freeway trying to get home the temperature of the engine spikes. Once in a safe location I check under the hood to see my radiator hose had been pulled down by my belt and the wheel had burned a hole through the tube. I manage to tow my vehicle home and let the shop know what had happened. While the staff was friendly they refused to take fault. They claim that they didn't touch the hose, only the cap. The supervisor, who it took forever to get a hold of, also stated the same thing. When i brought up to them that it happened on the same day they worked on my car, and that they were the only ones to look under my hood, I received the same response. I got a sorry, my employees should have told you about the tube, but its not our fault and they would not be doing anything about it. The only thing that was offered was someone to look over my car and to make a determination which could take 3 weeks, and I'm sorry, but I can't not drive my car around for 3 weeks. I will not be bringing my vehicles back to this place, and i will recommend that veterans of the base not to return either. On a previous trip they spoke to me about how they don't like serving veterans because of the discount the company offers to us. I guess they don't make enough money off of the community. Well here is hopes that this location will make less money now.

Joe did a great job completing a pending service request. Jacob and him also changed my car oil. Didn't even complain about the fridget temperature. Would highly recommend this location

I love going to take 5! They changed my oil and did an inspection within minutes! They do a thorough check of the air filters and even gave different oil options for the car. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal customer service and friendly employees! I was warmly greeted as my car entered the bay, and they were kind enough to explain to me on my eligibility of topping off between changes, gave me the tire air I needed, and checked all my filters for me free of charge. They were so honest and thorough with everything they did, and I really appreciated it.

Every time I get my oil change the service is phenomenal. Last night Chase and his team ensured I was taken care of even though it was close to closing time, and had a great attitude the whole time. This crew deserves to be highlighted as an example of great service both in auto service and how people are treated I.e. customer service.

Professional service. Friendly technicians. Great service from the Take 5 Oil Change, Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, Tx location. I did not get their names but I pulled into the bay around 4:07 on 21 Nov 23, and it was a female (long dark hair), and a gentleman that performed the service. They were extremely nice, professional, and helpful. A big KUDOS to them for their cheeriness!!!!!! This encourages me to use Take 5 routinely. Please make sure management realizes the front line employees are the ones to make or break a “customer service “ industry and to reward and recognize this accordingly. I choose my businesses based on professionalism and attitude. I could easily go to the Jiffy location that is closer, but I have gone to Take 5 location for a while now because of the technicians. I used to choose this location because of the female tech. But after the last two times I can say that I will never return. The techs are unprofessional and tactless. They do not give you all the information when going, especially like if your oil might be low! Because of this I now am looking at a full engine replacement that could have been caught before the car had mechanical failure. I was up to date on my oil changes and there were no leaks confirmed by an outside mechanic. And when you try to reach out to the office to talk with someone about any of the behaviors displayed the day you received your last oil change - do not expect an answered phone or returned voicemail. I went twice on Tuesday, October 10. 1st was around 0930, and Blake conducted an inspection on my wife's car. He was new to the shop, but knowledgeable, and his managers did a good job of helping him navigate their POS system. He was fast, but very thorough. After I got my truck from my wife, I took it over to Take 5 at the same location, around noon. Charles was my technician and was happy to help, along with Clarice, the manager on duty. They were both friendly and efficient. They offered products and services relevant to my oil change and general maintenance on my truck, but we're not pushy or overbearing at all, if I turned anything down. In the end, I will continue to go to Take 5, because of their fast, friendly, and affordable services. They have a new life-long customer, that they have legitimately earned, taking me from another "10-Minute Oil Change" shop that has honestly gone downhill lately.

Today I took my 2019 Ford Fusion to Take 5 Oil Change (800 Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, TX 78148) and I was greeted by a very friendly staff. I was explained my opinions and they had exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the work was top notch and I was shown my oil and air filter. I felt that the techs were incredibly knowledgeable and had no issues answering questions. I typically change my own oil and do my maintenance but I didn't feel like dealing with it with the current weather. Highly recommend! Thanks again team!

Each tech that touched my car were very professional & went above & beyond. Checking & fill all my tires to required psi. Topping off my washer fluid. Offered engine & cabin filters. Never had cabin filter changed before but I accepted both. I appreciated their work & maintaining professionalism under the extreme heat. I applaud them.

In recent days I had to get the state inspection for my car. I opted to go to Take 5 for 3 reasons: the best quality of service I've ever received, the proximity to my home for ease of availability, and not having to make an appointment days ahead of time at my car dealership. In a nutshell I appreciate the timely and quality of service and professionalism that Take 5 offers.
