I came to this gas station for several years mostly to buy gas and beer. But today was the last time I went there. I am 43 years old and got carded on buying beer! Then they rejected to sell me beer because my ID is expired. Well, due to COVID and the DPS appointment system I won't be able to get my ID renewed before at least August. Per the TABC website "Texas state law does not require that a person over 21 provide any identification to purchase alcohol in Texas." To card someone of my age and then to refuse to sell due to expired ID during COVID is just ridiculous imho. Last time I went to this Valero gas station and preffer to give my business to more" understanding " vendors. Happy 4th of July!

Ever been to Dick's Last Resort? This is the gas station version of it. I went to pick up something and one of the cashiers decided to put their leg up on the counter and pick a scab they had on their leg. A few of us were standing in line watching this. The other one who rang me up was just plain rude.

I was insulted by one of the female staff members yesterday. She mopped the floors around the food station before I went in and I walked through while they were drying. Right in front of me, while I was waiting to pay and she was moping where I was just standing, she thanked another customer for not walking in the section and stated “some people can’t read”, referring to the wet floor signs. The wet floor signs are for safety and liability, not to block off the area entirely so the paid employee doesn’t have to be inconvenienced by having to mop again. I was so upset that I confronted the employee, I told her how rude and inappropriate that was. Her response was to keep saying that the signs were there and if I had slipped, she would be responsible. We don’t always like what customers do in customer service, but at least have the decency and common sense to talk about someone after they leave. Smh.

A decent sized gas station and convenience store on Pat Booker Road. They might not be the biggest, but they're among the best I have experienced. I have never had a sub optimal experience here. They usually have the best gas prices in the area. That tells me that they want your business. Their convenience store has friendly service. It's a regular stop for me! Gas up here and go!
