We had an incredible time hunting at RecordBuck Ranch a few weeks ago! Our guide Kellem was determined to get the job done, and his patience and kindness with our 12 year old son were more than we could have asked for. If you are looking for a guide that is excellent with youth in the field, he’s your guy. The food at the lodge was stellar and both of our kids were treated so well with accommodating meals and desserts of course! Can’t say enough about the staff and hospitality that we received during our stay, and how comfortable feeling the lodge is. We slept great, ate great and had a successful hunt! Looking forward to another trip soon!

Decided to go hunting in June. First time I have hunted in the summer and had an incredible time. Many of the animals look totally different at that time of the year! Shaun put us on the animals we were looking for and had an absolute amazing time. I have booked another June hunt and cannot wait.

Record Buck is an amazing ranch with even better guides. I've had the pleasure of hunting at Record Buck through business relations and as a family group for almost 20 years now. The entire Record Buck team go above and beyond in providing a wonderful hunting experience. The lodge is a beautiful and well kept. The meals are excellent. The guides work their tail off putting clients on world class animals. Love this place!

Record buck staff and accommodations are top notch. The ranch is large and has plenty of animals that aren’t pressured like other places. The scenery is the nicest I’ve seen in the hill country. The food and hospitality is the best around. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommended.

This is a first class place with first class animals. I have been to Record Buck several times over the past 10 years both in a business setting as well as with my family. It is a large ranch with a great staff.. Kellem, Shaun, Tammy and the whole staff provides top notch service. The meals are excellent and will cater to all needs. Highly recommend.

Second time hunting at Recordbuck Ranch for a corporate event and it just keeps getting better. The lodges are spotless, the food is fantastic, and the hunting? Unbeatable. Kellem and Sean have truly outdone themselves with this property. Counting down the days until the next visit!

I have been going to the Recordbuck Ranch for roughly 10 years now. I’ve had the opportunity to hunt many guides including Jim Miller, Shaun Catton, Ethan, and Jeff Copeland. From the wait staff to the chef and management all are great. Thank you Kellum, Tammy, and my great friend Shaun. Look foward to next time. Thank y’all for everything

I had an amazing time at this ranch. The wildlife, the guides, and the bunk house are second to none. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place. I’d also highly recommend Shaun as a guide. Looking forward to coming back some day!

A group of friends and myself just returned home from Recordbuck Ranch on Sunday. I cannot express how much we enjoyed ourselves on this trip. I personally have hunted several other ranches in Texas and can say without question that this is by far the best! From the three meals they provide each day by a very friendly kitchen staff to the knowledge the guides have about the animals and the ranch itself! What an amazing group of professionals. I want to personally thank Shawn for guiding me on a Turkey and Armenian Mouflon hunt. We had a great time! Also, Ryan who took us out on a night time hog hunt!! What an adventure !! Can’t wait to get back and hunt with these guys again !!

This 20,000 acre hunting ranch is NOT controlled and the animals are not baited in the way another review would have you believe. Are there feeders and blinds? Yes. I exhibited next to these guys last week in Galveston. They were genuine, fun and very knowledgeable about their industry, scoring of the animals and the ability to bring a prize deer home if you can shoot a gun. I recommend their ranch based on those items alone!
