Oil pan replacement and engine check for damage. Original estimate $591 by phone. Final bill $694. $420 in labor alone? It's an oil pan, not a gall bladder!!
Oh yeah. My wife ran over something that caused the damage. You would think they would have done at least a look at the front suspension. It's pulling to the right now, but I won't be taking it back to them.
Nelson's garage stated that my wife must have a guardian angel 😇 she could have been killed driving it 😳.

Tried keeping my business local to support the community, however was disappointed for the 2nd time with the same local business. Years ago I had taken tires there and the owner over charged me on simple rim change. After about 15 years, I decided to give it another try, since it’s closer to where I currently reside. Took 2 tires for repair and no complaints, weeks later I decided to take a tractor directional tire there for mounting. I figured like most places, they’d mark the tire to make sure they mount it in the correct direction. I paid the $30 and took it the next day to mount it on my tractor. Well I guess they didn’t mark it and had a 50/50 chance of mounting it correctly, and they got it wrong. The next day I went to mount it on the tractor and realized it was facing the wrong direction. The following day I took it back and let them know at the shop area, the worker that mounted it stated that he didn’t realize it till he took it off and he apologized for mounting it the wrong way. After the job was done, I went to pay and the owner’s son charged me full price. I told him, the worker just apologized for not looking and mounting it backwards, the owner’s son stated that normally he charged $30 dollars for tractor tires. He was charging me full price twice for a mistake the business had made.
Needless to say, I will not be taking my business there anymore. I tried keeping business local, but unfortunately it seems this local business does not care about its local customers.

Came in 40 minutes before closing and he said he wasn't going to do anymore inspections he does too many already. I am a repeat customer, I have rented Uhauls four times from here and had other vehicles inspected. He'd didn't care. Go to Ramos Auto, the place is a little rough but the guys there are awesome.
