These guys used to have the best burgers in the area! Their French fries and onion rings were good too. I’ve heard that they changed ownership a little over 6 months ago and every time that I have gone since, they always say Their kitchen staff left for the day or is closed. Not really sure they actually make half of the items on their menu anymore. The only food I see are normal gas station fried food. Such a shame.

It's a gas station with a kitchen. When I asked for a hamburger, I was told 20 minutes. So if you want fast, do not go here.

Small town feel, friendly and fast service. Cute decorations. Edit: Has since been sold and lost the local feel. Just like any other station now.

Awesome burger and fries. Kids loved their chicken tenders and corn dogs.
Way better than that giant gas station with a beaver on the sign.

A quick fuel and bathroom stop. Prices competitive and staff super friendly. Would happily return.

I wanted to love this place. Little place in the middle of nowhere attached to a gas station. I was hoping for a hidden gem.Alas it was not.The mushroom Swiss burger was as greasy as a politician. All of our chips were expired. It took 30 minutes to get our food.I'll try again next time I'm in the neck of the woods. But this time wasn't great.

I drove from Fort Worth to Valley View just for the quesadillas at Back roads Food & Gas. The young lady there makes the BEST quesadilla. Service with a smile and a wonderful atmosphere. If you want good and fresh food go to Back roads Food & Gas. You will love it and go back for more.

Food was okay but I tried to place an order over the phone and the worker could barely understand what I was saying, and I ordered a small pizza but it was a personal pizza.

Food is good for gas station burger or so on and so forth but the issue that I have is they acknowledge they advertise one price but charge you a different price in store when you bring it to their attention that they are false advertising they acknowledge it but won't make it right this would have never happened with the old management they would have fixed the problem rather than to continue to let the problem exist
