It is a great place to learn horsemanship, with instruction that starts from the ground up. The program offers good basic instruction and progression, with safety as a big priority. The ranch understands each student's needs and level, helping coach from fear back to confidence. It is a wonderful place for all ages, with an ability to connect with kids in a way they understand. The ranch also provides awesome group days with pony rides, hay rides, horse demonstrations, feeding the livestock, and milking goats against a beautiful rural backdrop. It is a fun day for kids and adults, highly recommended for groups. Everything at the Cactus Rose is produced right in Texas, partnering with customers to build a sustainable model that benefits the family and the community.

We have been with Cactus Rose Ranch for 2 years now. Our 11 year old daughter takes riding lessons and we also board our horse here.
The Welch family is over the top! Great people with amazing knowledge and skills. I 💯 recommend the Cactus Rose Ranch for children, adults, and horses.

Great place to learn horsemanship, and a family business that wants people to love and learn the animals as well as the activity. Also understands each students needs and level, helped coach our daughter back from being extremely afraid to loving to ride again, after a fall off a horse(at a different facility). Highly recommend
