Carlos, the “manager” is very rude, unwelcoming, creepy and quickly becomes hostile with customer interactions. I had an issue with one of my digital coupons not attaching to my transaction. After explaining to him why it should have worked as per their coupon policy, he began rolling his eyes, speaking in a very belittling tone and acting as if it was an inconvenience to him to look over my receipt. Needless to say I left due to his uncalled for behavior and called corporate, who confirmed that I in fact did overpay as my coupons should have worked and could have easily been overridden by the so called manager. Had he just taken a minute to listen he could have avoided not only another 1 star review, but also a complaint with corporate. I would love to say I am never returning to this location again, but unfortunately, it’s the only DG in the area. Do better and fire this incompetent jerk

Sad small town man .
My husband and were passing through van horn and stop here. CARLOS was extremely rude, condescending and unwelcoming. He gave attitude and was unwilling to answer questions pertaining to his simple job.
Honestly some good old fashion customer service training would benefit this sad store and especially CARLOS.

This particular Dollar General is chaotic. Shelves are not stocked well, but there seems to be plenty of items needing to be stocked. I think the lack of employees is the problem. I think I saw one person working. This place could use a good cleaning. I don't blame the employees for the lack of items on the shelves, I blame whoever is in charge there. The aisles that have items are all messed up and there's no way to find things. Part of this is the customers who rummage thru stuff and just throw it wherever, instead of putting it back where they got it.If you really need anything, perhaps you might find it there. Just don't need anything beyond every day simple items.

Great place to stop shop and rent a movie in the redbox kiosk that is infront of the store. My vehicle has tv/dvd screens. This place makes it a good combo out in the middle of nowhere to return or rent movies for your long trip and get a few things you might need.
