Some shops don't allow you to air up your tires for free anymore. But here in Van Horn you can still count on these guys to help keep your tires in good order. They even aired them up for me. Group of solid respectable men here. If you ever need a little hospitality out on this lonely wearisome road. You'll still find it here in Van Horn at the Loves Shop with these guys.

We always stop at Love’s in our many, many miles of travels. This particular Love’s not only had a dirty bathroom, and unkept beverage area, but most importantly, out of the six places to pump gas, four of them had unattended vehicles in front of them. I went in and reported it to the team, she said she would make an announcement. She never did.

This was the worst Loves I've ever been in. No tea, no coke in the fountain, sure other flavors were out too. They were out of XL cups and medium cups. Overly crowded with customers trying to get out of the store. Line for checkout was long, they only had 1 cashier working. Finally someone came and opened up another register. Several employees but they were doing inventory, I guess they didn't want to stop to help clear the store of the customers. Overall cleanliness was not good either. That inventory must have been more important than making sure the bathrooms were clean, things were stocked and drinks made. It would have to be a major emergency for me to stop here again. Id rather use the bathroom behind a tree than stop here as well.

A+ service! I got an oil change/pm service here. I have a Paccar engine. 2 out of 10 Love that I go to do the services correctly so my truck starts right up.. this is one of them, And new on my list of approved loves to get my oil change done. They where friendly, (NOT rude, OR A-holes) even checked the tire pressure for me on my tractor, Upon my request. The Gracie was done correctly and not too much , I put this loves as a safe one to go to for my oil change/ p.m. services, And with that I would assume anything else.
It’s kind of freaky going to loves sometimes. 7/8 out of 10 of them have to crank my truck over for 10 minutes Or more, then put a machine on it, sit there and pump and pump the pump, Some places it even gets to the point where they’re getting ready to roll it out of the shop and say I have to call a mechanic or something, it’s crazy.. they all say “there’s something wrong with your truck.” (And I’m always thinking yeah I brought it here for an oil change. That’s what what’s wrong with it)
I mean, I can change the oil myself at my house in the dirt with no shop and it will start right up, every time, do to the proper Procedures followed while doing it.

If you’re on the road looking to get gas, food, and a dog park then this is it! The dog park area was really clean and spacious perfect for your dog to stretch their legs and go potty. There is a Subway store inside if you’re hungry and plenty of gas pumps but it does get busy.

There are some great employees that work at this location, but this review is for Chuck because he's a very special employee that goes above and beyond. One day I left my necklace in the shower room and he immediately came outside checking the entire parking lot and every truck to find me. He caught me just in time before I pulled out. Thank you so much chuck, never stop being amazing.

Worst truck stop from Georgia to California. I sincerely hope the xpress fuel across the street puts them out of business.
Horrible customer service, absolutely repulsive store with nasty amenities and food services. The fuel island is set up as if a high school burn out on some sort or hallucinogenic designed it to be an impassable labyrinth for semis. If I had to choose between stopping here or scoop muddy water out of a roadside puddle in Las Vegas to drink, I’d drink the puddle water.
If you’re reading this, save yourself the headache and just go to the next one it’s not even worth looking at as you pass. If loves corporate ever happens upon this, please, for the love of god, wipe the slate and restart with an empty concrete lot because whatever is going on in this place is, and I stand firm in my conviction saying, as close to purgatory as you can get in a truck stop. If I could give negative stars I would.
