A company providing a service to our community at inflated prices. They act as though they are part of our community when they're preying on them. The Kroger/Albertsons merger has made these stores admit in public to what they have traditionally only said behind closed doors. The price gouged the staples to make up for inflation. Putting profits ahead of the needs of the community.

I unload my groceries onto the conveyor belt, cashier says nothing. No hello, no did you find everything you were looking for, and never asked for my brookshires card. The only words she spoke to me was the total. Can you figure out what happens next ? Yep, no thank you for shopping with us or at least a have a nice day. A cashier is the last impression of the shopping experience. It doesn't matter of the shelves are full and that a product is on sale. All of that goes out the window when an employee chooses to not engage with the customers.

They fired my favorite employee. I used to go here all the time, and she was always the sweetest there. She always helped me find what I was looking for, and she always had a bright smile. Unless she returns, I won't return. Gracie helped me anytime I needed it at Brookshire's. But now that she is gone I will move on to another store. Goodbye.

Did not tell me until after I transferred my prescriptions over that they were transferring from brookshire's to Walgreens that did not take my insurance. I did all that work it's been all that time and effort changing pharmacies to not be able to use them at all. I will never shop here again ever.

Evidently if you show up before 9:30 you have to check your self out as there is no option for a person at a register. I have a problem with this as I do not use self checkout. If I wanted to use automated services I would just have it shipped to my home. I think for some self checkout is ok but for me I’m not a fan. I had a good number of items as I was getting ready for my sons coming home party as he just got out of the marines so I left the buggy where they should have had an employee and went somewhere else.
