Once again, The Lodges at Lost Maples became the much needed oasis for me and my wife! It was the perfect getaway for us to unwind and reconnect with one another. This was our second trip to The Lodges and all of our expectations were met, with a room and setting that was perfectly set up for our comfort and enjoyment. We did have an ulterior motive by reserving our room during The Perseids meteor shower. The Lodges were the perfect backdrop to watch nature's beautiful light show! We also hiked Lost Maples and enjoyed its beautiful scenery!
The Lodges have become our perfect escape and will be yours, to reconnect with your family, your wife/husband and revitalize your love and respect for our beautiful Hill Country.

We hoped for a good stay, and it was great! Our hosts have done everything to insure a pleasant visit. Comfortable AC and good WiFi. We knew that there was no cell service, but our phones offer wifi phone service. One click and we had excellent cell and text service.

I very seldom post reviews. Generational thing, I suppose. This place is great. Great location. Super clean, super quiet. Everything you need and nothing more. Our go-to place in the Hill Country.

We went and rode the Twisted Sisters the weekend directly after Thanksgiving. We did not make reservations for Saturday until Friday. Despite our last minute planning, Jarolyn went in on holiday weekend and got a place cleaned up for us. The place was nice, clean, and had all the amenities we could need. I can't thank yall enough! Highly recommend!!

We spent a wonderful weekend at River Lodge . Our cozy house was immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the surrounding . We enjoyed hiking nearby trails and relaxing by the fireplace.

Darling little gem perfect for visiting the state parks. The cabin was very clean and had everything needed for a fabulous stay. Bottle of wine, good coffee and a very comfortable bed and linens. We would definitely come back!!!

The Lodges at Lost Maples are exceptionally nice- lodges in a beautiful part of the hill country. The cottages are very clean, well equipped, plenty of primacy, and the setting is delightful. We try to come every year.

We stayed in Solomon's Den for 2 nights, and it was the perfect getaway!! The cabin is very clean and cozy!! They have added WiFi to the cabin, which was nice in case of an emergency. We loved sitting out on the porch in the evenings listening to coyotes, cows, and a screech owl. We loved it! The lodges are located about 10 minutes from Lost Maples State Natural Area. We were told that restaurant choices were limited in the area, so we cooked in, and quite honestly we preferred spending time at the cabin anyways. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would love to return sometime!!

With a much needed getaway, this turned out to be the perfect place for my husband and I. Being able to disconnect and just enjoy each other's company was most definitely accomplished here. The Cottage was very clean and cozy. We will absolutely enjoy a stay again when the weather cools, so that we can really enjoy the use of the firepit. If you are looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, if only for a couple of days, I would highly recommend The Lodges of Lost Maples.

Amazing location. The drive there alone is worth it. Calm, tranquil. Beautiful lodge with an amazing bed, fireplace, whirlpool bathtub. Just so cozy. We spent our Christmas vacation here, far from the heat and crowds you'd find in summer time coming to enjoy the river. We walked in the parks by the river, so peaceful. Ate great bbq (the hog pen in Leakey), sat around and played board games, drank some great wine from local vineyards. The host brought us homemade pie. I can highly recommend the lodges at lost maples, and absolutely cannot wait to return! You really couldn't ask for more.

Cozy accommodation with a fireplace and full kitchen, and perfect for exploring Lost Maples State Natural area and Garner State Park. No Wifi but that could be a plus when getting away from it all!

Solomon's Den is likely the most fantastic couples cabin we have ever stayed. Romantic and beautiful in its construction and decor - Its setting is in some of the most beautiful countryside there is to see in Texas. All the amenities you could need for a romantic getaway are there when you arrive . The owner provides a bottle of red wine , some firewood, bubble-bathe with Epsom salts for the Jacuzzi bathtub and an enormous bed surrounded by windows and a spacious tin metal ceiling that glows fabulously when you make a hot fire. We cooked steaks out on the grill and looked up to see our amazingly clear milky way galaxy like we hadn't seen in decades. We hiked in the nearby Lost Maples State park which was great but truly we enjoyed our time in the cabin the most. We only wished we had booked longer !Rooms: Open, woodsy rustic with great light and perfect space for kitchen, living area and an enormous bed with a fabulous jacuzzi tub right next to it.Nearby activities: Lost Maple State Park - WineryWalkability: Very walkable within the propertyFood & drinks: We brought everything food-wise that we would eat and drink as there is limited selection to food and spirits near the lodges. This way you never have to leave unless you go to the park or to scenic rest areas for the starsNoteworthy details: Its the kind of experience that if it rained all day, you would still love it.
