If anything is wrong with your new phone they will take it and leave you without a phone until the new one comes in. Look elsewhere for a better policy

Con artist. Returned a $1200+ laptop with the best buy plus membership which clearly states 30 days. I returned it in 18 days and was refused a refund and had to beg a manager just for store credit. I will find a way to burn thru this credit and be done with Best buy for life now. Unbelievable.

Went in about a week and a half ago to get a new battery for my iPhone. They didn’t have it in stock so they had to order one, not a big deal. They tell me when the battery comes in I can schedule and appointment to come in and have them do the repair. I get a call yesterday, Thursday, saying the battery is in and I NEED TO COME IN IMMEDIATELY to get the repair done if not they will send the battery back within 24-48 hours. I asked them if I could schedule an appointment for Sunday since I have work until then and live 30-45 minutes away. They tell me absolutely not and I must come in or start the process over. So I ask if I can come in Friday to which they say yes but I need to come in before 6 since it takes an hour and a half to two hours to complete. I take off of work on Friday and get there at 5:30 and when I tell them what I’m here for the worker tells me the repair guy is about to leave and I will have to leave my phone overnight or drop it off in the morning because he isn’t going to start on the repair until the next day. I told her what I was told on the phone and after checking with the repair guy a second time tells me he can start on it now but if it takes longer than 2 hours or he breaks something then I will have to come back tomorrow. I tell her that I have work tomorrow and can’t leave my phone since I need it for work and she just shrugs and tells me that there is nothing else they can do.
I am extremely disappointed in the service I failed to receive and am frustrated that I had to take off of work and drive for nearly an hour just for nothing to happen and being given the run around by the inconsiderate employees.

Our worker Ruby was very rude and made many mistakes on our request of a new screen protector. It took her about 20 minutes to put on a single screen protector. She made many rude remarks as well. Terrible customer service.

I have been shopping at Best Buy for 25 plus years and never one time have I ever needed to return anything, until today! Purchased Viper remote start for Daughter for Christmas for her new ( used ) car! Come to find out her vehicle already had remote start and we didn’t realize it as we only had the car for a few weeks! My local Best Buy is 45 miles away as we live deep in the country. Finally got a chance to go to town to return, Brand new in box @ $350 dollar unit and they wouldn’t even consider taking it back! Not even for a gift card! No compromise, Notta! Never dawned on me their return policy was the Weakest in the retail industry EVER! Never dreamed I would have any issue with a corporate giant like Best Buy. Customers BEWARE of there 14 day, or was it 18 day? Return policy! Nevertheless will never shop there again! This place could careless about the Customer! Only your money!

Geek squad stares at you for 30 minutes until your appointment with no one in line ahead of you... I called the day before and asked if I could drop off the equipment for repairs early and was told yes. This is the last time I will deal with the asperger syndrome powerhouse that is the Victoria best buy...

This store isn't exactly a shining example of customer service, but it reflects how they typically interact with their patrons. During my first visit, the only staff member who acknowledged me was the man at the front desk—and that was after I had been in the store for 34 minutes! It might have been acceptable if I didn’t need help during that time, but I had a specific item in mind, located it quickly, and was ready to check out. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible here. There were two employees on the floor: the greeter and another gentleman who was busy assisting another customer. I later learned that the rest of the staff was on their lunch break!
After waiting patiently for some time and seeing no one else around, I decided to leave and find my item elsewhere. Just as I was about to exit, a young man hurried over to check if I had everything I needed. I shared my experience with him, and it was clear I wasn't happy with my visit to Best Buy. His name was J.R., and this store should be thankful for him—he turned my negative experience around and helped me find what I was looking for, plus a few additional items. While a couple of thousand dollars may not be significant for large chains like yours, it's the contributions of everyday customers that help sustain your business.
