“Excellent place to shop and acquire stock for a thifter to resale. The price of used, donated tools has risen to nearly the cost of buying a new battery operated tool. Previously the tool prices were extremely affordable but now it isn't worth purchasing. You can get a new tool for the price they are asking for pre-owned equipment.Staff is great as always and extremely helpful and polite.”

“When making the hard decisions for a love one you have to push aside what you want for them and listen to what they want. I have been caring for the sick all of my adult life and have seen that final breath of life leave them. Considering how close I become during those trying times I cry every time they leave us. Every. single.time. When my mother received a head injury her quality of life began to decline. We dragged her from one doctors appointment to another trying to get her back to where she was. It wasn't working. She was tired of going in and out of hospitals and having test ran day after day. When she made her wishes known to stop it all it was hard. We wanted more time. She wanted quality not quantity. As hard as it was we granted her wish and that is when Hospice of South Texas came in. The nurses were attentive to her every need and want. Chaplin Steve administered to her spitual well being as well as ours. They guided us through the process and provided the necessary medications and equipment that mom needed. I have known people who have been on hospice services for months and even up to a year. Placing mom on hospice was the best ever. She got to do what she wanted that did not include having a battery of test that required pain and endless suffering. She got to be closer to her friends and family. She got to tell each one of her grandchildren how much she loved them. She got to watch the sunsets and eat her favorite foods. She was living her quality of life on her terms and with the help of her family and Hospice of South Texas she accomplished it without pain and suffering.”
“This is one of my favorite places to thrift! I went last week to find vases for my son's reception and left there with 20 vases that didn't break my budget.”
“The ladies here are wonderful! I left my cat early in the morning to get neutered. All the ladies were very nice and welcoming. I got a msg as soon as my cat was ready. I highly recommend this place. Answered all my questions and took very good care of my fur baby!”
