“Great for the most part, the only complaint I have is I get a call about once a week about my daughter having “fever”. This means she can’t come back for at least a day meaning my husband or I have to take off 2 work days when she’s not even usually sick. She gets hot when she cries a lot and it makes me feel like they just don’t want to deal with it. Today was a good example of this as I had a happy toddler when she left, no fever, not even a sniffle, but she was tired as she woke up at 4am. Magically at 10am I’m getting a call saying she has a 100.1 fever and ofc my husband and I were both working out of town. A family member picked her up, gave her a nap and wouldn’t you know…NO FEVER. My daughter loves it there and I really don’t have any other gripes with the facility other than that.”

“My kids have been going to kidz of destiny for a few months now and they absolutely love it. We have had them at other day cares in the area and I was never comfortable with the attention or educational opportunities they were receiving. Ever since they have been at kidz of destiny they can't wait to go to school in the mornings, they are learning and I never hesitate when needing to check on my child during the day or their overall well being. They work well with us on the things we are working on at home as well as what they are doing at school. I appreciate everything these ladies do for both of my children!”

“This daycare is by far the only daycare I trust in Victoria Tx. Their staff is friendly and treat the children as one of their own. I use to have my child in Bearly Beginnings he was only there for a week before I pulled him out when he was 2 months old. I was horrified to find them yelling at the children and being very aggressive and abusive. The children their are wild and the staff their do nothing to teach the kids how to act and behave. They never picked up my child, whether he was crying or not. He stay in his crib ALL day! The infant room does not get any kind of social contact, tummy time, love or care! When I Pulled my child out of daycare I was afraid to take him to any other daycare because all I heard was bad things about all the known daycares in Victoria. From Noah's Ark to A+ plus every single daycare I looked for had a horrifying story about their staff. When I asked a friend if she knew any daycare, she referred me to Fresh Start. I was afraid because this daycare wasn't one I ever heard of before. But maybe that was a good thing. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was different than all the others. Here at Freah Start I know I can leave my child here in confidence knowing that he will be taken care of properly, and he won't have any problems with the children or the staff members. Before I enrolled him I stressed to the director how fearful I was about leaving him in a daycare from my past experience. She reassured me that her daycare is not like the others. I am able to walk in at any point in the day without call or notice to check on my son, watch how the caregiver interacts with my son and the child. My son gets the attention I was afraid he wasn't going to get. It has been two years since I have enrolled my son in this daycare and it pleases me. They have a curriculum that fits every age group. My son is learning his ABCs, Numbers, Bible Verses, and more. For the lady's review below. Please ignore. No one can be satisfied if they are picky. I've seen her around the daycare when she would drop off her daughter and pick her up. She was always mumbling under her breath and talking to herself. One time o caught her cussing out the sign in/sign out machine because she forgot to clock out her child from the previous day. I also witnessed her kick her daughter to "Hurry up and get in the damn car!" When she was picking her up one day. I've seen her daughter interact with the kids and she was always a BRAT! Hitting children because they wouldn't give her the toy she wanted to play with, ripping out her own bows and throwing them on the floor. (More than likely how they got broken!)Kayla Flores is an employee there and she DOES have TWO daughters! Regardless of if she is an employee she is still a parent and has every right to give a review! She is an awesome teacher as well! My son has been in her class quite a few times and every time he sees her he runs to her. She does such an awesome job with the kids. The other staff member Stephanie that this lady has mentioned is a fantastic teacher as well. She has been a staff member just as long as my son has been going there. I've never witnessed Stephanie being aggressive and "snatching toys away from a child and handing it to another." Stephanie is a fair teacher and if a child isn't sharing then she would take the toy away from both and give a "lecture" to the ENTIRE class on how to share. She is awesome with the children!I have dropped off my child when Ms. Kayla arrives for her shift and I can here all the children shout "HI MS. KAYLA"I have also dropped off my son when Ms. Stephanie arrives whether she is working or picking up her own son. When she walks into a room wether that be her own class or any other room ALL the children run to her to give her hugs and kisses and tells her hi. If that isn't a sign of an awesome teacher I don't know what is!Don't let that one bad review from a mother who was terminated for her ugly attitude towards staff, c”
