Unfortunately I've use this credit Union for years almost 10 now. My main complaint comes from something very simple the act of depositing money. I need to do deposit about $50 in coinage not an insane amount. But it still would have taken the teller I 5 to 10 minutes to count these out. Unfortunately the coinstar in the front was full. So I proceeded to the teller thankfully the place was mostly empty however, she outright refused to take that deposit. Think this is unreal try it yourself.

The people are nice but their hours are shifting and not really making it usable to go in if you work a day shift. To do online deposits and payments can take DAYS.

If you are looking for a bank with employees truly dedicated to the customer's best interest, then T.D.E.C.U. is where you need to be banking..... Since transitioning to T.D.E.C.U. years ago, I've never been so pleased with a financial institution... Not only are the staff concerned and professional, but I've never felt that my money is secure and in the best hands.... They're serious about the security of your assets and that means a lot to me..... Thank you T.D.E.C.U., I hope that we may have many more productive years together....

I have been with TDECU for nearly 30 years. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because their employees are usually kind and helpful, that is TDECU's saving grace. Their auto, mortgage, RV, ATV, and personal loan rates are nearly always some of the highest around, loan origination fees are usually higher than other competitors, and they are unwilling to budge on assumption deeds from personal/non-business loans into an LLC when trying to start a business. I have not been willing to secure a loan through them for around a decade due to their rates. An 800+ credit score and 30 years of good standing doesn't get you anywhere with them. Don't waste your time on their insurance either. They were shockingly high on that front as well. There are much better options out there for your loan and insurance needs. This isn't a review for this specific branch, but for the company as a whole.

Very slow customer service setup. Here we are on a Thursday, 8 people in line and two tellers. Burning through my lunch time to make a transaction.

Horrible experiences. There has been two separate occasions where the teller has incorrectly deposited our money. Both times the amount was $100. We were completely dismissed. Horrible customer service.

I am not a member of this credit union. My father is and was recently put in a nursing home. I was given power of attorney over his accounts. He has several loans, credit cards, etc. thru TDECU. At least once a month they lock the accounts and cards because one of his accounts is 30 days past due. They will not release his money for anything else until those payments are brought to current status. They deactivate his card and if there is an automatic debit for another bill it gets sent back. I dont understand how they can hold his money hostage until they get their money. Im not even sure its legal! I have been to talk to them several times and I have been told " he shouldnt let his payments be late". " Its going to look bad on his credit". Hes been in the home for a year. Not coming out. In my experiences with them they are all just rude and inconsiderate. I would never have open an account here of my own, and certainly wouldnt recommend it to anyone else.

Tdecu opens at 8:30 and only opens one line and keeps the other lines with people waiting closed tell they feel like helping them
