I've hesitated to write this review, but since I've already made the payment, I feel obligated to share my experience. This is going to be a lengthy post, so please bear with me.
In short, my experience with Veliz Collision was highly unsatisfactory.
On November 10, 2023, while preparing for the Marine Corps birthday, I had an accident involving a deer and needed my vehicle towed for repairs. I chose Veliz Collision and initially, everything appeared to be proceeding smoothly. Kassandra from the shop was communicative and helpful whenever she was present. However, problems began when she was not around.
Weeks into the repair, I was informed repeatedly that essential parts had not been ordered. I eventually agreed to a substitute part of lesser quality to expedite the process, but this decision did not seem to speed things up. I found myself without a rental and had to borrow a vehicle from family.
The repair shop only reached out to me when it was time to sign insurance checks for additional damages. Delays and excuses became a regular occurrence, and despite promises, the completion date kept being pushed back.
When I was finally told my truck would be ready, new issues arose, such as the need for a new battery, which I ended up installing myself amidst an approaching freeze. Following this, I discovered the front camera system was non-functional, which the shop attributed to a recall issue, suggesting another party would fix their error.
Additionally, my air conditioning was malfunctioning due to an unrefilled refrigerant following repairs. This, along with the front camera's improper repair (a GLUED electrical connection to the camera) discovered by a dealership mechanic, highlighted a concerning lack of attention to detail. Repairing the botched camera work cost me an additional $1,200.
Throughout my ordeal, I noticed other customers receiving prompt service, which led me to believe that turnaround times could be influenced by personal connections.
In conclusion:
- The quality of work was subpar.
- Communication was virtually non-existent.
- Overall, the experience was exceedingly poor.
I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

Took my X5 here after hitting a deer and messing up my front hood and grill of my car. The owner immediately looked at it and knew right away what needed to be done. Had the car in and out with no complications and the whole team was just very professional about explaining how the claim would work with the insurance and they even helped with the deductible on my end. Satisfied customer and if I ever need the service again I will definitely be returning here!

I’ve got additional damage to my vehicle than what was there and I can’t get the manager to call me to discuss! I’m very disappointed seeing as this shop has nearly 5 stars. I trusted them with my vehicle and it goes to show no matter how many stars your business has you can still operate as if you had 1 star. I really hope they make things right! The repairs were under my husband’s name.
Update!!
I was tired of the mess that this place caused. There was more damage found immediately after picking up my vehicle but I would never again take my vehicle back here because I would never trust them to repair my vehicle. This company was absolutely horrible to me and my vehicle which I paid for with my hard earned money and if I can help others by telling my experience then I will.

Chop Shop.WARNING DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They will part your vehicle out and swap with cheaper used parts. Called police, and Victoria City Police Department is aware of their frauds, this isn’t their first job like this. Don’t believe? Call Non Emergency Number and ask.

Worked with our deductible during repairs, which saved us a headache. Office staff were extremely helpful to my wife with any concerns during the time the vehicle needed repairs.Will return if needed for a claim or even maintenance!

Beware: They kept my truck for 10 months, constantly telling me that truck was being repaired only to find truck in high grass after 8 months. Also made repairs without my consent. Overcharged me as well.
