Dear Customer Service Team,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident that occurred on August 21, 2024, at the Love's Travel Stop managed by Mr. Herrera. As an independent contractor with Truck Movers and Northern Driveway Company, I frequently visit your establishments, spending over $4 million annually. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned.
On the mentioned date, I purchased approximately 100 gallons of fuel but only received 96 gallons, which I paid $318 for. However, I was charged $475.25, including a fee for reefer fuel, despite not owning a reefer truck. When I returned to the store to address this discrepancy, I spoke with Manager Herrera. He denied my claim that I had filled up at the fuel station and refused to review the security camera footage that could verify my account.
During our conversation, Mr. Herrera was uncooperative and disrespectful. When I inquired about his refusal to assist me, he dismissed my concerns and told me to leave the store, stating that I was not welcome. I was taken aback by his comment, made in Spanish, suggesting that he does not help people like me. As a Black Spanish-speaking male, I found this response to be racially insensitive and discriminatory, especially given that he was unaware of my ability to understand Spanish.
Feeling that I had no other recourse, I called 911 to report the incident and await police assistance. I believe that this situation reflects poorly on your company, as it demonstrates a lack of accountability and respect for customers who contribute significantly to your business.
I hope that you will take this matter seriously and investigate Mr. Herrera's conduct, as well as the discrepancies in fuel charges. It is crucial that all customers are treated fairly and with respect, regardless of their background.

Hate to have to leave this review but I have to. Arrived at 13:30 because of one tire leaking and one blown out. It’s now 19:30 and the job isn’t done. Wasn’t in a bay until after 3 hours, and the work didn’t begin until 45min of sitting. They forgot to input my truck number so my carrier couldnt “approve” anything they put in. One of the tires was swapped, the other was repaired but the repair failed. I informed him I needed to leave and to replace the tire asap. 10 mins later he called and said i was all set and was going to send me away with only the one tire fixed because I said i had to go. Staff was going to send me away with a DOT violation when i said just put two new tires on. Just unacceptable. Stop feeding the “waiting on approval” nonsense. I know our road crew, they approve things timely and quickly. Get it together. Provide the customer service you know

I'm so sick of hearing "we don't have anyone to fill propane"!!!! For a company to pour so much money into the business just to employee such incompetent help blows my mind. Time to follow Elon and get rid of the dead weight company wide and become the best travel center. I try and always stop at a Loves because of the dog parks (awesome idea BTW) but lately the staff has been in decline at the customers expense.

This was the absolute worse experience I ever had getting and oil changed in the freightliner I drive. They had to go get a filter. They thought they new what filter to get instead of checking my filter requirement. Came back 45 min later just to say it's the wrong filter. So needless to say I went in bay at 2:30pm and I'm just leaving at 7:30pm
