The Art Center Waco is a community-focused institution dedicated to promoting the arts in Central Texas. Currently, the Art Center is working on a new facility while continuing to engage the community through events like mobile art expeditions, children's art classes, and summer art camps. The Art Center has been praised for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and thought-provoking exhibitions. Visitors have enjoyed art exhibits featuring local and internationally recognized artists, such as the "Hermès in the Heart of Texas: The Art of Kermit Oliver" exhibit, which celebrated the life and work of a Waco-based artist.
