I love these guys! My cat? Maybe slightly less so, but that’s because he has to grudgingly admit that going to the vet does actually make him feel better.
The doctors are personable, knowledgeable and friendly, the vet techs are great and patient, and really work to make sure both humans and pets are comfortable. We’ve been able to get appointments quickly as needed.
They also are very transparent with pricing and working with you to make sure you get exactly what your pet needs but not more.

Beware of the wellness plan scam they talk you into signing but failed to mention if you don’t want it after 30 days-you’re still obligated to pay the full year or they will send you to a collection agency!
One x-ray to view, my dogs shoulder would have cost me $400-$600, I don’t see the benefit of that plan!! I just want out.
I wish I never set foot in that place

I visited Banfield with the stray kitten I found on June 11th to confirm the absence of ringworm, and the test results were negative. However, on June 25th, I noticed two abrasions on the kitten's cheeks and scheduled an appointment for him on the 26th. During the appointment, the veterinarian used a black light to examine the kitten due to my concerns that it could be ringworm. Despite my concerns, no additional tests were conducted to determine if it was ringworm or another condition. The kitten remained at the clinic for several hours, and I was charged an exam fee for the black light examination. When I picked him up, I was told he would not need any treatment for the wounds, but the following day, his condition rapidly deteriorated. The emergency clinic prescribed antibiotics, an antifungal medication, and wipes to help him recover, which were effective. My recommendation for this vet is limited to straightforward treatments; for more complex cases, I believe they may not go the extra mile to help the animal.

This review is a long time coming. Banfield is so amazing in their care for our animals. My husband and I have two dogs. One is 8 and has eaten alot of thing he shouldn't have over the years and the other is a 2.5 year old blue heeler so just "full sends" through life. We cannot express enough gradtitude towards this hospital and team.
With our Lab, Nicole was so kind and helpful throughout the entire scare we had due to what ended up being a liver infection. They did everything they could and knew when to reach out can get him care they cannot do. They always called to check in on him and did such an amazing job with the after care. If it wasn't for them, we do not think our lab would have lived to see 8 years old and he is THRIVING.
Our Heeler is a hot mess just because he lives life to the fullest. Since he was 8 weeks old, he has been in their care and they are amazing every time. From broken dew claws to skin infections, monthly allergy shots to recent potential partial ACL tear, they have been amazing. They great us by name every time and assist us with making sure he gets all the care he needs while meeting our busy schedules. The OWP is such a steal in the fact we get help with his care since we go so much.
Every time we drop off our dogs, we know they are in amazing hands. They provide us with clear communication, put the pets before sales, and always think about what is best of them and us. I could not thank them enough for their service and their dedication. From the Front office to the vet techs and the doctors, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Long story to say, if you need cat or dog care in Waco, Banfield is a WONDERFUL option. 15/10 recommend.

Really wish I could kind of give them zero Stars I brought my puppy in because she has an upset stomach and then they were very rude to me and we're discussing how if I can't afford vet care when they were trying to shove multiple things on me why do I have pets. They don't treat symptomatically they just want to rack up huge bills.

Decent vet clinic but in my personal opinion I would use JUDD VET CLINIC . Judd vet clinic has always went above and beyond they truly care about you and your animals
