Mediocre inventory, most PC parts overpriced (aside from hard drives, great prices there, actually), somewhat snobby/egotistical staff. Which is funny because when I asked for PC PSUs, the poor guy took me over to cable strips and extension cords, not very bright lol. Clean store though!

I recently visited the Waco Best Buy in an urgent situation because my phone had completely given out, and I needed a replacement ASAP. Unfortunately, this visit turned into the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a Best Buy.
When I approached the cell phone center, I was met by a young lady who made me feel unwelcome from the start. I explained that I was in a bind and that I’m not very tech-savvy, but instead of offering help or patience, she acted as if I were an inconvenience. Her attitude was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional, which only added stress to an already frustrating situation.
Despite spending a significant amount of money on a new phone and all the necessary accessories, I was made to feel like my presence was a bother. As I stayed to set up my phone, I observed her interacting with other customers—and sadly, the rudeness and lack of professionalism continued with each one.
To be fair, I am giving this visit a two-star rating—not one—because of two positives:
1. They did have one of the newer phones in stock, which I appreciated given my urgent need.
2. The door greeter was absolutely outstanding. She welcomed me warmly, engaged with me about the available phones, and showed genuine customer service—even though she wasn’t part of the cell phone center.
Unfortunately, these positives couldn’t outweigh the negative experience I had at the customer counter. Because of this, I will not be returning to this Best Buy location.
Customer service matters, especially when customers are already dealing with stressful situations, and this visit made it clear that the Waco location fell far short of that standard.

I went in to replace a battery on a Saturday at 3 o’clock. I had to turn off the Find My, which took an additional hour. I came back at 4 to have my appointment. They told me they will need to keep my phone overnight because the guy who worked in the back couldn’t do the same day Repairs as a listed for Apple products. I came back Sunday With a scheduled Appointment, mind you, I live 30 miles away from this Best Buy, the one near me does not do repairs for Apple devices. I dropped my phone off to them again and I could not leave a phone number for them to contact me at, because this was my only phone. They requested me to come back around 4 o’clock. When I returned, my phone had not been completed and the geek squad tech in the back said he could not remove the tape from my phone that was holding in the battery and requested that I leave it again overnight and I told him that I don’t live near that store. I just requested that he put my phone back together and I’d leave. After I left the store, I get another phone call from Best Buy telling me that this guy did not put my secure screws back in the bottom of my phone and they requested me to come back for another repair, Which would be free for me. I scheduled an appointment again for Tuesday at 11 yet that following Monday, I get a phone call from the geek squad again telling me that there was no battery available to put in my phone and that I would have to wait an additional 2 to 3 possible days because of no phone battery being available and that Apple requires some part to be sent back for repair even if there was no repair completed. On Tuesday morning, I still received a notification saying that I’m scheduled for a repair and when I contacted the store, they told me they couldn’t cancel, but they still didn’t have my parts. Straight trash

The best Best Buy I have utilized out of multiple stores in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, College Station, etc... Did not have to go looking for someone, they came and asked me. While waiting for him to get my electronics, three others came to ask if I needed help. NEVER have I had this level of help in 30 years of shopping Best Buy.

Went to Best Buy at market place looking for truck stereo system, ask for assistance at front door. Was told someone would be there shortly. Waited around 40 minutes, even asked another employee and was told again that someone was on there way. Needless to say no one showed up. That says everything I need to know. I'll never be back.

I went to The office Depot next to Best buy on I-35 in Waco. To buy a Shaquille O'Neal office chair rated for 400 lbs. I have two of those chairs now.

There was a young man at the customer service and he was very polite, compassionate, passionate and understanding towards my grandma who has memory issues, and walked her through her iPad.

Very friendly. Pretty helpful. Geeksquad do a good job and fair priced. They look out for you instead of sucking every dollar out of you. Prices for tvs are solid. The tv section can be slow to help tho sometimes. Microwaves a bit overpriced but good. All videogames are overpriced or just not worth getting. Very good printers and accessories though. Best buy the only one to stay good over the years in technology.

Had what I was looking for but the price was they showed by the product was cheaper then it rang up as. Told the manager and he said the higher price was correct and said the price showing by the item was wrong. So I told him I would just go to Amazon and get it cheaper if he was not going to honor the price shown.

I’ve been using the 5 1500F AD 5060 for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how smooth and fast it runs. The design feels premium and durable, with all the features I need for both work and entertainment. The display is crisp, and the battery life easily lasts through a full day of use. Setup was super easy right out of the box, and everything worked perfectly from the start. Definitely a great purchase—I’d recommend it to anyone looking for reliable performance at a great price.

I went for a new Lenovo laptop that my tech son recommended. Excellent price, good trade in for my prior. Didn't try to upsell or get me to change; I knew what i wanted and got right to it. Thanks Riley and team!
