Plenty of inventory and competitive pricing. Salesman was helpful during the sale but was awful at close of sale. He was not that busy so have no clue why he was done with us. We bought boots, no box was brought to the front. We had other things on our list to buy, but decided we will shop at the Austin location. We waited in line for check out for at least 30 minutes.

Alisha went above and beyond on the customer service. I had some boots that needed to be stretched (somewhat of a time crunch, for an event) and she really took ownership of my needs and, leaving my boots in her hands I felt so confident she would make it happen and she did. Thank you Alisha!!

I want to rate it higher but I can’t. I’ve been to this particular store several times and the customer service is….lacking. The last time I went, I was in 4-5 different sections in the store and was greeted by not one person, nor was I asked if I needed help. They awkwardly ignored me. So uncomfortable. Things is….you never know how much money someone might spend Cavenders.This wasn’t my first time to observe the employees simply can’t be bothered to greet you or help….Ive been in the store several time and made purchases because they were the only store in town that had the product. Im not the only one that thinks they are stand offish/down right dismissive of customers.

My cousin applied to work at Cavender’s and just had her first day . She came home crying and never wanting to go back . The people there only showed her how to checkout customer and then belittled her in front of them when she didn’t know how to do something ( assign gift cards , refunds / exchanges ) .They tried to force her to answer the phone without even showing her once. They also said on the phone that her start pay would be $12/hour and then she got there and in the contract it only said $10. That is deception because every dollar counts now a days . She also tried to speak to the manager during her break and she was just brushed her off . This is a horrible work environment. This is probably why that help wanted sign has been up for 2 years . Everyone that works there is Caucasian so who knows if they are just being snarky and rude because she’s Latina . This location seriously need training on how to have a pleasant work environment.I know my family will never be back and I have also heard stories from other Latino family’s not having great customer experience. That store needs training how to treat people kindly , customers or employee , of any race .

Contrary to several recent reviews, the customer service was outstanding. While this review is written during the Christmas holiday season, it was a Monday afternoon. About every 2 to 3 minutes, a staff member would walk by and check on me asking if I needed anything, if I had any questions, and along those lines. the checkout lines were long at times, and they probably could've opened another register or two, but there was no lack of customer service. There's a pretty big selection, the boot section is the most well organized, the rest of the store is a bit of a mess. Shirts are the shirts, jeans are with jeans, but if you're looking for specific style or size, they're all mixed in. The big and tall rack was not exclusively, big and tall, and actually, there was a sprinkling throughout the store of big and tall items. Most of the items that we got were on sale, Accessories for a reasonable price. If I'm in town or another location where they have a store, I'll definitely pop in and see what I can pick up as this was a positive experience.
