True definition of 5 star service
Only one technician but still finished my repair in one day. Dedicated, professional and committed is the service I received and even stayed after hours to finish the job and return the car
No other feelings other than completely grateful

Car broke down while driving South from Dallas, Mike (owner) has had the car for about a month and a half with no end date in sight. He said it would be done over a month ago (see promised date of 6/25 when it is 8/15) and since then has been periodically unresponsive to our check-in text messages and calls. Unresponsiveness has lasted weeks or has been addressed with snark, and it is hard not to feel like we are being scammed due to the unprofessionalism in his communications. Only performs minor work in shop and contracts real mechanics to perform fixes. Our car was in another lot across town.

Don't use this shop owner Mike is not trustworthy, he will make up issues to get money from you. He will use same parts and clean them and charge you for new ones, he is not puntual, he doesn't answer your calls. He is not a good mechanic he doesn't fix the issue and job is done in a rush. The 5 star reviews are a scam he told me to write a 5 star before he did work to my car for "a free brake diagnostic inspection special".

I took my suv to CMP auto repair, to get my front brakes worked on because my wheel shake when I would brake at high speeds. I took it in Saturday and the owner Mike wasn't there in the morning at the time he picked which was 8am. That was already the 2nd time he wasn't puntual. Then he keep my car the whole weekend and no call and wouldn't answer my calls, he said he opens 24/7.
He finally answered Monday after noon after many call attempts I did. He give me excuses but that my car will be ready Monday at 830pm. I asked him what's wrong with the car he said it was the brakes he replaced them new,( rotors and brake pads) so I waited until 8 and no call so I call him to make sure and no answer then he said he will pick me.up to get it but at 930pm I said okay sure well 10pm came and no show I just went to sleep. Next day I had a text until 11pm the car was ready. I call him at 6am and told him I'm ready to get my car he told me he would pick me up. He did. Late but he did he told me there was still vibration in the car but it was the suspension which I doubted because is not an old car. I got home to check the brakes and the wheel nuts were lose in each front wheel at least 3 of them where HAND LOOSE! I literally use my hand check and they came off. It was unbelievable.
I drove the car and the vibration was still alot, I was furious he didn't fix and charger me $375 for it. The dealership can do it for $350.
At this point I didn't trusted his work and word. So I took it to another shop and they told me it was the brakes, even though they look new they said it was the problem. So they turn them down the front ones only and new brake pads On the front.
That did it. Car was driving smooth when I brake.
I went to Mikes shop and told Him he didn't do a good job at fixing the issue and if he was going to cover the other shop bills. He gave me a lot of excuses that they worked on the back brakes and I told him they didn't because it wasn't in the receipt
He kept making excuses and blaming the "new impact" on the loose wheel lug nuts.
I could tell he had lie about the suspension to get more money from me. He is not trustworthy. I know for a fact he used old brake pads so he can save some money that's why the issue stayed.

With my tire being flat and unable to move, Mike (owner) came to my house to help me! He also fixed my AC as well! Very nice man and great service! Check him out guys!

5 star review!! Had car troubles on the way to work, check engine light came on, had it towed to CMP. Mike got it diagnosed and fixed all within the same week. Would recommend to anyone in the Bellmead/Waco area!!

Mike takes just 3 month to change your Battery , 4 months to fix an Alternator, Finally coming to big parts like Transmission the Time Frame is still unpredictable by scientists and Mike. I am uploading his copy of the receipt which he gave me a Year back. 2013 Ford Escape black car with tag KS ONE 01 if you see the car still at his shop. Please ask him to fix my car or return my Money. He is not trying to answer my calls. If you still decide to give your car to Mike you are more than welcome to get screwed.

I had an outstanding experience with CMP Auto Repair! We needed a part and were only in town for two days. The owner was incredibly quick to help, punctual, and ensured we were back on the road within an hour. Our trip home was smooth, all thanks to his excellent service. Highly recommend CMP Auto Repair!
