First time shopping there and ya.. I didn't get the guy's name and the receipt didn't have his name just the cashier's number. I already knew what I wanted to purchase but I wanted to see how customer service is so I tried to see how they would assist me on the item but immediately turned away and said I got something better to do let me know when you're ready. Alright, fool glad your life isn't as perfect as you wanted it to be. If there for a paycheck then you shouldn't be there. There are music lovers trying to express their passion for music. Your are better off ordering your equipment online somewhere else.

The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Having been to other Guitar Centers in other cities, this one is fantastic due to the level of their people and helpfulness.! Highly recommend. Lots of instruments to try or take home same day.

Husband went in to purchase a guitar. The associate initially showed him the model he was interested in then left to wait on another customer and bever came back. The guitar had several chips in it and he wanted to find out about ordering one that wasn't damaged. He also wanted to look at a guitar from the top rack before he made a final decision. I told the associate he was going to purchase a guitar and was assured the associate would help shortly. He never came back nor did any other associate ask if we needed help. The purchase would have been $900 - $1300 or higher fender guitar. We left the store and purchased the guitar elsewhere. They were busy but not swamped. There were associates standing around near the check out area not waiting on customers. We have shopped at Guitar Center in the past with better customer service.

We came in for a commercial audio setup for a fitness studio. Jet was amazingly helpful and we were able to find everything we needed really quickly!! He was also able to make recommendations to consolidate equipment so we can multi-purpose and not only spend less but have fewer items in the common areas. I highly recommend coming to guitar center in Waco for anything acoustic or sound related and just ask for Jet

I recently sold some vintage musical instruments to Guitar Center in Waco. I was treated very fairly. They took the time to appraise each instrument and gave me what I consider a fair price. A few days after the sale they contacted me and said they had under valued one of the instruments and gave me an additional substantial amount. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to be treated fairly!Glenn Goode

I never write reviews but something has to change at this store.. I hate having to call the round rock Guitar center to get any information or any questions answered, when I live 5 minutes from the Waco store!!! The customer service is horrible! I plan to spend another 10k this year on sound equipment, I would love to do business with Waco but dame it’s almost impossible to do any business with them. But I definitely give the Round rock GC 10 stars!!!

Every time, not a few times, but every time I’ve gone to the Waco store I get ignored.. no may I help you, what are you looking for, is there anything your interested in….. NOTHING!!! In the store for over 20 minutes and not a word said to us… thanks for nothing….

This is a review of the customer service NOT the singing lessons, my father fully enjoyed his lessons.My father did tell them NOT to renew the lessons in the store that day, but they did anyway.This review is to warn potential singing lesson students that when you sign up you are signing up for auto renewal. This means that every 3 (?) months you get charged for more lessons. This is apparently in the fine print which I totally missed. READ THE FINE PRINT. This put me in financial hardship...The problem is I called IMMIDIATELY and told them I didn't want to renew and needed the charged refunded.NOTHING... called again two weeks later....NOTHING... now I am having to call a third time to get the charged reversed and it has been a full 30 days since my first call...To say I am angry is an understatement.

This has completely put me behind as I live paycheck to, day after paycheck. The real problem is I called IMMIDIATELY and told them I didn't want to renew and needed the charged refunded. NOTHING... called again two weeks later.... NOTHING... now I am having to call a third time to get the charged reversed and it has been a full 30 days since my first call... To say I am angry is an understatement.

Walked in today to buy a new bass amp. I was there for 30 minutes, tried 2 different bass guitars on 2 different amps. No one greeted me, said goodbye, or asked if I needed help. I was fully prepared to buy something today, but I left because of their poor customer service. I went to Music and Arts in the Centex Marketplace and bought a brand new amp with them. They greeted me instantly, and helped me make an informed decision. I will never give this Guitar Center another cent of my money.

In general, not a bad Guitar Center. However, if you're expecting a somewhat decent experience with the guitar technician, think again. You will be judged for bringing your guitar in to be restrung. I have a time-sensitive schedule and was hoping to do this just out of convenience given that I normally do it myself. Clearly pretentious, short-tempered, and sour; avoid having this man touch any of your instruments at any cost.

I drove down to see my family for Christmas and left my car keys and ear buds in the store. Total loss $700. By the time I realized I left them I was back in Dallas. After trying to reach out to the manager and several other people in the store to help me I finally spoke with Reese Carven who went out of his way to listen to my concern and carefully ship my belongings back to me . His attention to detail and outstanding customer service should get him Employee of the year and a promotion. This is taking care of customers 101!!!
