Seemed dusty.
Shoes weren't up to date, I think this area is still being built up. As I'm typing I also think malls are not as 'happenin' anymore because of the thieving behavior, which is a shame because those jobs are normally a young teens first type of job.

They have offers and discounts on almost everything right now and usually have a line on their busy days but most of the time, it's pretty chillHelpful employees

We stopped here while in town so the Mr. could purchase slippersThey still had a decent selection and he found two pairs.Unfortunately finding someone available to check out was impossible. When we found an open cashier station there was a long line. Nobody was at the jewelry counter so we asked if she could check us out. We were rudely told no, we need to wait in line. She wasn't doing anything but looking at her phone.The slippers were left at the store. Sadly this has become all too common at JCPenny. I don't see us returning anytime soon.

Haven't been in a JCPenney's in a long time. I have to say I was impressed.Went to the fine jewelry dept. Immediate service, knowledgeable staff, honored the online price, packed it up nice for a gift, and I was on my way. That's the way it should be. The store looked good too.

The energy and vibe in this store is as if no employee is treated correctly and wholeheartedly undervalued. There was no joy or smiles anywhere. The building needs maintenance for sure. Maybe I could be wrong, but that wasn't the vibe I got when I was there yesterday.
