Unbelievable service.
I spent $85.00 on a boot for my husband, hoping he would wear it for his hurt heel. When I got home, I took it out of the plastic bag that it was in (mind you, the bag was not even sealed). It was just sitting in a clear plastic bag. I set it on the kitchen counter, hoping that my stubborn husband would wear it. He did not wear it, he did not even try it on. It still has all of the extra pads and booklet that it came with stuffed inside the boot.
The receipt I was given states, “Any product that has been worn or in contact with the human body is non-returnable. All other returns will be granted within seven days.” I went in to return the boot this afternoon, on day six. 7-15-24
Mind you, this was the third time I tried to return the boot this week. Each time I arrived, there was a sign posted on the door that they wouldn’t be back from lunch for another hour, at completely random times. So I had to come back three different times to even attempt to return it.
The lady, who I assume is the owner, greeted me with a smirk and said, “You can’t return that.”
I explained to her that it was in brand new condition and had not been in contact with the human body. She was not even willing to have a conversation about it. She just kept simply stating that I could not return it. Terrible customer service. I wish I would’ve trusted all of the reviews that had been left prior to me purchasing the boot. Trust the reviews. They are accurate. Take your business elsewhere!

Nicest people you could ever hope to meet. I talked to/met three people there and all went above and beyond to help me out. I needed a piece of equipment asap that no one else would help me with. Mid-Equip not only helped me, but located the equipment and had it delivered to my house and set up within an hour and a half. And we're totally nice about it. Yes, go to Med-Equip for all your needs !!!

They don't take insurance. I've tried twice and nope they don't. I went in once and the lady was rude, told me they don't take insurance wanted me to pay cash. I said no that my insurance would cover it, as I was walking out she said she could try and send it through my insurance, and if it went through they would give me back my money. Either they take insurance or it's a scam to get your money.

This company is great. I have used them numerous times and never once had a problem. They handled any and all problems in a timely manner. Every time I go in to the store I am greeted with a friendly smile and always leave feeling better.

They are so expensive! We went there last Friday about 4pm to get my son a brace for his sprained wrist. The lady working there fitted one for him and told us that was the right size for him. We got home and the blood circulation was constricted on his hand, since it was the end of day and they close at 5 we couldn’t go back till Monday morning. We paid $45 for the brace. They would not replace or return it.We found the same exact brace on Amazon for $15 on prime. We had the same issue before with the nebulizer masks we used to get from them. I can get 6 masks on Amazon for $6, they sell them there for $13+ for ONE single mask! They rip off people big time, They don’t even except most insurance policies. We will not go back to this place, definitely would not recommend them.

The following is based on my personal experiences and subsequent opinions based on such.Although I have ordered products from this business in the past, they had no record of such. Since I did not initially have the product box, I described what I wanted. The person who measured me indicated that the product line changed with new boxes.I received a phone call stating that the product was received. I attempted to use the product, but it was defective. When I returned the product to Med Equip, they reportedly returned the defective item to the manufacturer and received a replacement.Today, I received a call from my insurance company asking if I had any issues. I informed the agent about my misadventures with Med Equip. The insurance agent stated that Med Equip finally got the insurance coding/paperwork completed and I could go pick them up.When I entered Med Equip today, I told them I was here to pick up my hose. They asked if anyone called me. I said, "yes, around two weeks ago." Med Equip denied this happened. So, I offered to bring a copy of my phone record to show them. I later discovered that this employee, the one who called me, was no longer working there.Med Equip attempted to say my behavior was confrontational; however, when pressed for a description of my confrontational behavior, they could not describe anything untoward. Furthermore, the insurance agent who attempted to guide them through this process was also greeted with their oppositional behavior. I asked that the agent put her observations into my record for future reference.Throughout this entire experience, I have encountered passive aggressive and uncooperative behavior by this business. In summary, this consumer followed the necessary guidelines for obtaining durable medical supplies: a) getting a prescription from a physician; b) getting measured; c) having the insurance walk Med Equip through the process of submitting the proper paperwork after previous failed attempts. My recommendation? Find another place!

What a fantastic group of people! My grandpa who is in his late 80s needed a lift chair, and quickly. From LaVeta and Candi, who assisted with the purchase, to Karen and Steve who delivered his chair... AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!! This team is hands down fabulous to work with!

Would give zero stars if possible. These people are contracted from the Veterans Affairs to help size new, nursing mothers and issue nursing bras. The first person I spoke witha few months ago, Lori, was very kind and helpful when it came to making sure I get what I needed. Since calling back, she no longer works there and I had to speak to another lady, LaVita, who was so rude and disrespectful. She tried to make it seem as though it was strange that I was still nursing (my child will be 6 months tomorrow) and seemed shocked that I still needed nursing bras as if nursing this long was weird or unheard of. She gave me the run around and kept cutting me off because she thought she knew what I was going to ask instead of listening to me. She even hung up on me and when I called back she lied and said the call got disconnected and didn't have a number for me even though she just told me I was in the system. People always treat veterans poorly thinking they can just get over on them or be rude as if they are second class citizens. I wish there was another place I could go to get what I need, but since there isn't I have to accept her poor customer service and behavior. Worst customer service I've EVER experienced.

Horrible experience. Just purchased a rolling walker that was ordered in. The walker came in two seat heights, I unfortunately chose the wrong one. I tried to return the item for an exchange and was informed that there would be a 25% restock charge because it was a special order. I was shocked since I WAS NOT informed of that fact when I placed the order. I then said that I would pay the restock charge ($42) the lady had to check with the office. On her return she informed me that they could not accept the item back. Seniors, watch your back in this place. I give it zero stars.
