Pet Supplies Plus Waco
203 Hewitt Dr, WacoI’ve been going to Pet Supply Plus for many years. This last year, the grooming department really declined quality And after they canceled on me three times with less than 24 hours notice, I assumed I would be finding a new groomer. Which was disappointing because my dog is very old and I don’t like forcing too much change on her. Thankfully, and sort of out of nowhere because I had felt that had already moved on from Pet Supply Plus… AUBRI Called me and reached out to Me to reestablish a grooming relationship. She had let me know that the old staff was pretty much gone and that she had taken over and That she would be happy to groom my dog So I brought my little girl in and AUBRI DID AN AMAZING JOB!! My dog hasn’t looked this good in Years!!! I highly recommend Aubri For your grooming services. I truly hope and pray for her Success at Pet Supply Plus, they are very fortunate to have her On their staff! AUBRI IS THE REASON I’M COMING BACK TO PET SUPPLY PLUS!

Petco
2404 W Loop 340, WacoWe left PetSmart Waco, after arriving 30 minutes prior to close because they refused to sell my 10 year old daughter a hamster. We drove directly to PetCo Waco and Jared and Marina took excellent care of us! Jared walked us around and helped us get everything we needed for the Hamster and Marina waited patiently as our daughter counted out $27 in change. Suffice to say, we will never shop at PetSmart Waco again and will always come to PetCo!

401 N Lakeview Dr, WacoAmber loves our dogs just as much as we do, she truly treats them like her own! Her work on our long haired pups is always amazing, and she takes the time to communicate with us about our preferred style or any changes needed due to matting or knots. She cares for all four of our dogs, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her. In short: amazing human, amazing work! ?

Dog Wild
1019 N 66th St, WacoHeather did a great job grooming our little chihuahua. We are very happy with the results. She's also the only nearby place I could find that just does nail trims only. Everybody else will only do it with their $90 blow/dry/pamper/spa package and is 3 weeks out to book. Most of the time, we just want the nails trimmed, and soon! Many thanks, Heather!

Cougar Paws Pet Parlor
10412 China Spring Rd J, WacoBrought my large senior dog here for a last minute nail trim over the weekend. They did a phenomenal job with him, he absolutely hates nail trims and gets a little aggressive with them. He was so nervous when we got there that he had an accident on the floor, I was so worried they’d be upset but they mopped it up and were not angry at all. They treated him with such love and care, as I sat in the waiting area on the bench I never heard him yelp or whine once. They said he did a great job, and they loved on him to whole time- he even got some extra treats. His nails look amazing and he is much more comfortable walking around. We will 100% be returning here in a few weeks for another trim and I will be bringing my other senior dog here as well. My pets are my whole world and I am over the moon that I found a place that gives them the amount of care and attention that I do.

Northside Animal Hospital
2801 MacArthur Dr, WacoGreat staff, polite and friendly, and the facility is very clean. Our two dogs were seen quickly and taken care of. One has heart worms and the other has had a cough for quite some times. They gave us options for treatment, supported our choice without trying to sway us one way or another, and took care of our pets! Will be going back to them annually and as needed.

Texas Animal Medical Center
4900 Steinbeck Bend Dr, WacoReally kind people. It’s always so stressful having a pet in an emergency situation. Our toy poodle was attacked and the vet was super careful and communicated each decision. It’s always pricey, it’s always after hours and it’s never really a positive experience but a polite and honest professional really helps. So grateful!

Lake Air Animal Hospital
801 Lake Air Dr, WacoThey have always been a caring staff and vet clinic for our dog and cat since moving to Waco 2 years ago. They have a small town feel. We recently had to euthanize our dog and Dr. Ainsworth explained the process and options with compassion, caring, and no judgement. The vet techs were right there with me offering sympathy and comfort as needed. I am very pleased with their service and care during this difficult time. ♥️

Cox Bruce DVM
2801 MacArthur Dr, WacoMy family has taken our furbabies to
Northside since 1992--well, my parents are still clients, but I moved out of town in 2022. It had occurred to me to leave this review now because last Tuesday, I lost my elderly tortie cat, Sally, to kidney disease, and Dr. Cox treated her for hyperthyroidism while I still lived in Waco. If you need a vet who deals with animals and their owners alike with compassion and empathy, Dr. Cox is your man.
About 10 years ago, Dr. Cox made a house call (though I don't think Northside does those anymore) to euthanize our 21-year-old kitty, Sox, who also had kidney disease. Dr. Cox was so very kind and gentle with our old guy. He injected the sedative and then asked if there was a spot in the house where Sox loved to nap. So we moved our baby to his spot by the fireplace, and we sat and stroked him and talked to him as the sedative took effect. I still remember Dr. Cox saying something to the effect that he liked to imagine a cat on drugs would envision themselves bounding through fields of catnip and chasing after squirrels. We laughed through our tears, and we knew that we had given Sox the best life possible and a peaceful end.
Thank you for caring, Dr. Cox.

2501 La Salle Ave, WacoReally have enjoyed the service here. Staff is very respectable and things are a bit more casual here. We have brought our two dogs and still need to bring the two cats. The veterinarian we see is very nice they are willing to work with our budget to help us get the most done like shots etc within our budget. Very happy here. My understanding is that they offer boarding for cats and dogs. Really friendly and respectful to us and our dogs. Really very well pleased.

555 E, 555 TX-340 Loop, WacoMy dog, Rufus, was torn up by a pit bull. Dr. Folsom, and Melody worked tirelessly into the evening, and miraculously patched my dog up from all of his deep wounds (After already having a full day). While my dog was in recovery, Dr. Folsom showed me photos of his wound stitching and tubes, and explained how to care for them, and what concerns she had. Terri, vet techs, and office staff were very caring, and supportive. All medications, and home care were thoroughly explained before we left.

Waco Waffle Co
224 Halbert Ln, WacoVisited for the first time today and this place blew me away with the flavor!! I got the Silo Savory Waffle and the Sweet Peach Waffle but the Silo was my favorite thing I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant! It was a flavor bomb, the fried chicken was so juicy, the waffle was hot and so soft, the bacon was the perfect crunch and that spiced sour cream topping was perfect!! Definitely making this my go to breakfast spot when I visit Waco!
We had to wait about 30 minutes in line on a Saturday so make sure to get there early! But honestly when you taste the food the wait is nothing!

Pet Circle Regional Animal Center
2032 Circle Rd, WacoWe recently adopted Talon from Pet Circle. The staff was amazing! The dogs were well kept and cared for. Talon looked as tho he had been recently groomed nail trim and all!.. Talon seemed very attached to the gentleman showing us him. Which showed me how well he had been treated there. They had plenty of room to play. While I was there I watched the staff take other dogs into other play areas to allow them to play and exercise. The staff really seemed to enjoy their job. The way the staff would talk about the pets being adopted was as tho they were really going to miss them. You could hear the love in their voices as they spoke about them. The adoption process was super simple and fast. 10/10 absolutely recommend if you are looking for a pet to come here. These fur babies were truly cared both emotionally and health.
